It seems to be a very interesting medication with purported pro-cognitive effects. I’m wondering if the hefty cost is worth it given that the Lexapro I currently take is very cheap in comparison
If the Lexapro is working pretty well, then it might not be worthwhile switching. I have had some people who responded well to vortioxetine who had not found relief from depression from other medications. I've certainly seen people who were more alert and functional, but it's not like the serotonin 7 receptor activity is adding ten IQ points to every user's cognitive abilities.
