Hey thanks for uploading, I love the AN-2 colt, I have only ever laid my eyes on two, one flying over in BC, Canada, the other in Reno NV, 1989 and it was for sale. Not to many in Canada, In my opinion a great crowd pleaser, especially the sound!!
Some of us still use AN2 for skydiving. It takes some time to get up...does not get you over 10000 and burns a lot of oil...but flies so slowly you feel like jumping a base.

I have been skydiving for 20 year now . And I did remember my first jump from An 2 in Halmstad , Sweden as it was yesterday . I have a lot of great memory of this .
@@Warbirds I was on a aerial spray mission near Gizan, Saudi Arabia, in year 2000 to fight the Rift Valley Fever spreading. We used 10 An-2 and 7 helicopters Ka-26 from Bulgaria. The engine sounds just like I remember it. 200 liters of 100 octane Avgas and 15 liters of lube oil per hour. The spray tank of 1200 liters was also used for long range fuel tank during mobilisation and demobilisation from Bulgaria.

in my hometown there is one flying around sometimes. its not stationary at the local airfield but its landing there sometimes. its obnoxiously loud xD

I flew an AN2 from Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent, with captain James Black at the power controls, such a brilliant aeroplane to fly.
