With the explosion she pushed the thermal energy into the bandage.
It's worth noting that the devs have come out and said the first 30 chapters of the campaign are just the prologue. They're preparing to give us years of trauma. I'm looking forward to when you get to Chapter 18.
I guess its not directly applicable to EN dub players, but I think many people like Privaty because her JP VA is Ayana Taketatsu, who voiced Azusa Nakano from K-On and its so funny because SU definitely make Privaty with the intention to make her similar to Azusa but with teal hair and their personality are very similar as well. And then, she also voiced Nero in Nikke, the cat girl with twin tail. Which is also an Azusa Nakano reference

For me, Chapter 13 & 14 are really a good chapter, with the tension in Chapter 13, and then we must give Marian to Pilgrim, but Commander promise to becomes strong, so he can protect Marian next time, in Chapter 14. Glad that you enjoy those 2 Chapters, Vidia. And Second Affection are good to get what happened after we gave Marian to the Pilgrim.
People love tsunderes because of the gap moe, very simple. Them being cute and gentle hits way harder when they aren't usually like that. Asuka, Taiga, the OG prototype, Madoka Ayukawa, all great characters. Also, 1:22:51 : MorTality of the job, not "morality". Chat was saying the same thing as you Vidia, you misread that. "Mortality", as in "mortality rates". The fact a lot of commanders just die. Oh, and Enikk doesn't sound crazy AT ALL. Just extremely pragmatic, as an AI would be. In fact, given the general view of the Central Government on Nikkes, I wouldn't be surprised if humans would agree as well. Basically, all she was doing was sacrificing a few combat units in exchange for a truce, which was extremely good in terms of cost-benefit ratio. Of course it should raise the question of why raptures want nikkes and agreed with such a deal to start with. EDIT: Oh, god. No disrespect, but Chime's EN VA doesn't even COME CLOSE. Her JP voice is my favourite piece of voice acting EVER. And I don't mean in a game, I mean in any medium, period. Seriously, check out Chime's japanese voice. She's the best. I laugh my butt off just merely hearing her. The EN voice actress doesn't fit AT ALL her exaggerated expressions and comedic vibe. Also, can we spend a second to appreciate the art of Trombe's silhouette with the night sky and the 3 nikkes on him? It's so beautiful.

Man, this chapter hit hard having to give up Mod-baby just after finally getting her back... then the old wound gets re-opened with 2nd affection, plus she grows up and is no longer baby which makes me sad. That said, i found the writing for the CenGov being antagonistic towards the player's 'side' made sense so i could actually get behind why they were doing what they did. Especially if i'm taking the setting seriously. Funny enough, another time would be the whole Exia thing that was mentioned. Personally, I struggled to feel bad for what happened with Exia because it was such an insanely reckless act, to put it nicely. On the whole Tsundere thing, i'd say like them but i wonder if i've fallen behind with the times. I'm very selective of what anime i watch, more so as the years go by. I guess i'll just say it's a case-by-case basis where i'll probably have more issue with the writing than the character. In the case of Privaty, i like her (my first best girl who's carried me since the start).

Sacrifice a few Nikke to ensure the survival of a greater whole. They are, according to the perspective of the Ark, after all only weapons, only property. The Central Government holds that the Ark must survive to in turn, ensure the survival of Humanity. But a humanistic perspective would argue that cybernetic beings created with the human brain as its central component, even ones denied the status of 'humanity' by governing body and society at large, that are capable of emotion, cognition, and communication, must also be afforded personhood, if not 'humanity.' If Nikkes can be considered people, then the Ark is bent on sacrificing members of what is at best, an oppressed lower class, and at worst, slaves. It seems to be there that the Commander, and Andersen in a way, are rejecting the utilitarian perspective.
I've seen so many fans wrongly recommend to wait until after chapter 26 to do Second Affection, I'm glad you were not among the content creators influenced by those voices.

Play second affection and last kingdom after this, they are the direct follow up to Marian's story, and second affection doesn't has any real spoilers, last kingdom you should beat ch 25 first
Completely understandable about the Privaty hate. I still resent her today for what happened. I understand that she was just following orders but there's better approach she could have resorted to instead of that horrible attitude and her apparent indifference to Marian's possible demise. To this day, I still resent her. Like, I don't hate the whole Triangle Squad - For example, I actually like Admi because she loves cats (and I love cats) and her calling Privaty out on the supposed "Marian is only gonna be fine the government will protect her" (you can kinda sense that she's sympathetic towards our predicament then). So yea, I just hate Privaty. Though, because of this, we had a really cool "Last Kingdom" story (which happened after Second Affection).
