What to Do When You Want to Throw Out a Painting

Do you ever just get so frustrated with the painting you're working on that you just want to throw it out?

Well said! Some of my “where am I going with this moments”, “risk and run with it”, times lead me into new adventures. I have gone back to pieces that I wasn’t sure about and used them in other collage projects, or I took the risk and moved forward, never allowing the process to cease my determination to explore and learn things from each moment.

Oh I wish I had heard this before I painted over my last canvas, which I gave up on. That was a mistake - or perhaps a lesson learned :-) Now I am so stuck I can't even put a single dot of color down and have an exhibition coming up soon..!
