Weird indeed, It's like promoting Disneyland Paris as first thing to do when visiting Paris 😉🤷♀️ Even if the Paris district around the Ratatouille attraction is enjoyable 🙂
"Platz" in German already means "square" in English. So "Marienplatz Square" would be "Mary's square square". Then, if you mention a church, it should be Frauenkirche, its double onion-shape-topped towers are probably THE most iconic landmark of Munich! This church is the very reason why there are no skyscrapers in the city. If you mention a stadium, it should be the Olympic Stadium and the surrounding Olympic Park. The 1972 Munich Olympic Games started a major boost in the city's development and helped Munich become a European metropole. Allianz Arena is for Bayern Muenchen fanboys/-girls only! And Legoland? WTF?! It is 110 km (70 miles) away from Munich, and no Munichian would ever bother to go there unless they're passing by when going on vacation and mostly not even then.
@@beanlegume9965 depends on context, in cities "...-platz" always means ... square. You could also translate it as space (I have space=ich habe platz) and "Ort" would be a more accurate translation for place when talking about locations
@@beanlegume9965 Sorry but they're right about Frauenkirche being THE reason why there are no skyscrapers in the center of the city. It's a rule that states that no building should be higher than the church's towers And LEGOLAND ? Never mentioned when talking about Munich. People don't visit Munich for that
First time we see a zoo with cageless animals 😮👍👍👍 No, the reason for not traveling to Munich is the Lego park that must be expensive to get in and with nothing related to at least Oktoberfest, BMW Q, FC Bayern ⚽. You can find such park in your own country ☝️ Visit the Besucher Park, near the airport, instead. It's much more instructing and surely less expensive
@@goldflo91 You do not need to go to Munich to go to Legoland. It's over 110 km/70 miles away. The Airport Besucherpark also is 40 km/25 miles outside Munich. The parks you need to see in Munich is Olympiapark and Englische Garten.
See You in Octoberfest 2021! Stay safe everyone, keep wearing your face masks, wash your hands frequently and stay apart to stop the spread of Covid-19. Take care!
This is not a good list for Munich, maybe for a child, I’ve been there a few times what about Dachau, BMW Welt, Olympic Park, Nymphenburg, Hofbrauhaus, and so much more.
Bro. I'm American and know that you mispronounced literally 100 words. Also, the graphics/visuals that you use are wrong, misplaced, or are straight up missing places your speaking of. Do Better.

Probably thought that Denmark = Germany
Munich is just boring🤷🏼♂️
Good point, what the hell did I just watch. 😅
Strange that you didn't mention the Residence, or the BMW museum and BMW Welt, they are must see; and you can see them only in Munich 😉
The BMW world and museum looks an excellent day out.
Agreed BMW was cool.
500 years of cultural history of Munich and Legoland is the number 1 attraction? so disrespectful and American attitude.
Abhishek Srivastava the bloke is regarded give him a break.
Man fuck you! Why do you have to go there with the American bullshit?!
I m Germany and this is that what American think 😭😤😭

Platz means place. Somewhat synonymous with square, but still your comment is wrong.
