Fantastic, informative video! I have been lucky to have visited Müenchen many times and have been to all the sights listed in this video; very comprehensive. You will have a great trip if you follow his advice. If you are a beer drinker, as I am, I would recommend a beautiful day trip to Kloster Andechs in the Bavarian countryside. The scenery is breathtaking. You can take the S-Bahn and a quick bus to town of Herrsching, which is only slightly more than one hour. The trains leave the main train station each hour (at least it did on my last visit). And if you visit the "in town castle" Schloss Nymphenburg it's an easy walk to the largest biergarten in Müenchen, Hirschgarten, where they serve Augustinerbräu. Prost!
There is one advantage in going to Munich (and other German cities) in December. That is where one can experience the various German Christmas Markets. Planning to go again this December, but trying to decide whether to use Munich or Berlin as my base.
I'm planning to visit Munich next year . Big Bayern M supporter here :D I want to go there on February because of the snow buuuuuut day time is quite short ... as any other place in Europe :D If I go March will be a little bit better ( day will be a bit longer ) but no snow :D
I wouldn't plan my visit to Munich based on snow as winters have become very unpredictable. It can happen that there might not be any snow in February.
Hey, great video! Maybe you can help me with something: I intend to get the 49-euro ticket to cover public transport for the 20 days that I'll stay in Germany in June. Do you know if I can buy it now in advance, or do I have to wait till the end of May to get it? Thanks!
Hi Roc, absolutely loved your videos. We are traveling to Europe for our first time. We have a reservation at the Hilton North. I'm thinking that the Hilton we reserved is not the best location. Can you possibly tell us which Hilton or Hampton Inn is the best to book that is close to tourist attractions please and thank you.
This is a wonderful concise but complete list of many things to know about Munich ! Ausgeziechnet!
Thanks! Appreciated 🤗

None of the Hiltons is in a great position. If I had to choose one I would go with Hilton Munich City. Hope this helps. All the best.
Really good video. Will be taking some hints and tips for my trip in Feb.
Happy it helps. Thanks 🤗 Have a great trip.
Are there any supermarkets open on Sundays at the main station?
No, no supermarkets on Sundays.
