Allianz Arena is a go to spot. Especially the church over looking it on the hil

Max, thank you. I am preparing to go back to Munich for the first time in 42 years. I lived there in the late 70s. Not military. I was a proper Bayrischer Ami: I went to Gymnasium and play for die 60er (Jugend, naturlich!). I'll have my wife and two of our children, who are not little anymore. :D You've done a great job: you explain well, and do a nice job showcasing a variety. You have confirmed a few things I want to do, and probably a few things I won't do. :D I am now readying to watch your video on Berlin, which is where I lived before Munich. Vielen Dank!

Charming! We spent our few days in Bavaria visiting Isney and Fussen (and of course Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau), so I think we must go back for Munchen!

We visited Munich in 2017 and had planned to go back in the summer of 2020, but the pandemic changed those plans. I can't wait until I have another chance to visit! Such an amazingly beautiful place

Munich several times and I love this city. You missed something I think. For example the Schwabing Area and the University with the White Rose memorial ......the Theresienwiese.... The Museum of science and tecnique.... The Allianz Arena.....The Munchener Freiheit Place.....The Opera and Maximilian Strasse.....St Michael' s Church....

Enjoyed this video of your home town in Germany. I spent time in Munich on my trip around the world and I really liked the city. So, it says you posted this in January, BUT I know this isn't what the weather is like in December/January! I will be there over the New Year -- any recommendations of things for the winter? Great video..thank you so much. I have been to Europe a few times but never visited Germany. My wife and I are going again next March and will be visiting Munch for a week--very excited! Already knew I wanted to visit the Hofbrauhaus but now have a list of other places thanks to your video. Can't wait to taste the ice cream.
Skip Hofbräuhaus and Go to Augustiner Keller instead.
HB is a Tourist trap. Augustiner beer is better tasting and all the locals go to AK, not HB.

A small Venice (Kleine Vendig) is a nice place - meters from there is a Templar church; St. Peters church vieewing point on the tower (closed now unfortunately), Freiheit with the nicest and most colorfull buildings and last but not least Allianz Arena of course :)

I was at the one in the Lenbachhaus building. All the L’Osterias are good, though.

Hi, what are the current covid measures in Munich? Do you need to register before entering restaurants, bars and shopping malls? If yes, what does the registration entails? Is there any covid trace app to download? Tks!
Hi Adrian, some restaurants require you to register with the Luca App or the Corona Warn App. Alternatively you can often fill out a paper forms that they provide. All in all the situation is very relaxed currently.
what is the blood alcohol content youre allowed to drive in munich? like if i had a beer for breakfast would i be in trouble getting pulled over on the way to work????

June is very nice and warm usually. It's the start of summer and probably one of the very best months to visit Munich (apart from September because of Oktoberfest obviously).
It would have been more useful if you could tell prices for tickets and food 🙏🏻
