@kellieandbillyjack As an amateur boxer for years. In all my years of boxing, especially in a supposedly controlled environment. I have never seen anyone with injuries like that resulting in someone death in a controlled setting. It just doesn't happen. Seems like hecwas beaten to death with those injuries he suffered.
If what he is saying is true, I don’t like it. He’s a vet too. He knows what competent intensive training should be like, and when it crosses the line to become abuse. I hope a thorough and independent outside investigation is performed.
So if that were a white guy and at the course was run by 99% black women, would you say the first statement if what he says is true? People do not go on the news and subject themselves to potentially more humiliation unless it’s true. Look around you and see the way they’re treating immigrants and law-enforcement are Trump supporters This obviously happened and he needs to file the discrimination case immediately

My buddy was a Marine Corps veteran who runs half marathons and they had him in the hospital within two weeks. This academy is horrible
I mean the "you don't belong here" tough drill instructor bit is pretty standard
LESS BOXING, MORE HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION TRAINING - teach these guys chain of custody, how to separate witnesses, how to preserve evidence, how to interview witnesses and write reports, and how to spell!

I was a military combat veteran and not trying to make it about race I’m a white man and I was number one on the list of my city police list and I went to my second interview with the city officials and the police chief and they asked me if I would say anything if my partner stole during a traffic stop and I answered honestly and said that I wouldn’t put my job or anything in jeopardy for someone else and I saw the chief tap his palm of his hand and that was the last question needless to say I received my letter from the city and it said that they wouldn’t trust me with that kind of authority because I was a Iraq veteran

My sister is law is a retired State Trooper and she forbade me from everrrrrrrrrrrr even think about joining.
He is a vet and did 4 years active duty in the army. He is 100% correct about this. They were probably jealous of him.

This man fought for our Country, Discrimination and prejudice is uncalled for and now we see why there is so much corruption in Massachusetts state police dept. and Enrique Garcia was brutally beaten ... it was said the boxing was designed to teach recruits how to defend themselves instead of using Excessive Force but yet EXCESSIVE FORCE was used in the Brutal Beating of Enrique Garcia and there needs outside investigation and get rid of all those bad apples STARTING FROM THE TOP.
Keep on this reporting , Massachusetts needs to face facts about what’s happening with our police. It shows the inherent racism throughout the force.

This is absolutely heartbreaking! The Massachusetts State Police needs some major reforming!!! As a white Roma woman & Criminal Justice major who’s worked in law enforcement; even I do not trust my own state police. Start with the higher ups and clean ship!!
WHY ! Would there be any hazing or harassment? If you are being trained to become a state trooper? This type of nonsense needs to stop at all levels of training and hold those accountable!

So look, the MSP and RTT is disgraceful for the many abuses of power they employ as if it were a matter of policy. There’s no excuse for that trainees body to have gotten so wrecked, and I think it was the straw that broke the camels back, so get used to having lost the public trust bc it’ll be a long while til it ever comes back, and before that would even begin, it’d have to be corrected. So just welcome to the results of the organization’s actions.
BUT, I don’t think this was necessarily a race thing. This recruit and his wife both said it was related to the guy’s academic performance, and there are so many in the comments who say he failed several times and cheated in a makeup. It’s on every other comment (but silent about Enrique, btw) , and they said it themselves in the video.
The guy didn’t leave voluntarily bc of harsh discrimination, he was let go and now is salty, and using racism as an excuse. He’s just moving the goalpost.
I get the MSP doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt, nor do they deserve it, but listen to what they just said in the video! I’m all for a complete overhaul of MSP they are corrupt as a matter of policy, but I don’t think it’s always a racial issue especially when they tell us they are moving the goalpost and have a motive to be salty.
Training is one thing, but hazing and bullying is another. Bravo to this man for speaking up! I wish he had his family the best!

There was no excuses for him being fired. Multiple things he did that could’ve really hurt someone, failing all tests and cheating on the last one.

Just because you claim this. That doesn't make it so. It appears someone was killed in the boxing program, and it's being covered up. You have to consider the sauce. I wouldn't trust anything they say without a full independent investigation. The Haitian recruit said he was being treated very badly. He was being discriminated by the state police and they had the recruits discriminate against him too. Whatever is done in the dark will always come to light. Someone died and / or was murdered. We all know they will circle the wagon to protect their own and cover their tracks. This way, the person(s) responsible will not go to jail and be held accountable. Until an independent investigation is done and the facts are bought to bear. I don't trust anything coming from the state police. One recruit beaten to death, and the other terminated both minorities. It's just a little too neat and very suspect. That's no coincidence. All allegations until the real facts come out from an independent investigation. The Haitian recruit was a veteran, and the other recruit was beaten to death funny how the pole of colors were the only ones with issues. None of the white recruits.

He was not singled out. They treat all of the recruits like crap, doing seemingly unrelated exercises in futility. These exercises, however, reveal a recruits ability to keep a cool head when angry and frustrated. These are traits that most would agree are necessary for a police officer.
Also, the ability to speak and understand english is of paramount importance when interacting with the public.

He shouldn't have had his wife speak. She started he didn't do well on his test, so was that the only test he failed? First off after 18 weeks, they are not trying to kick you out because they already put a lot of money into your training. I'm gonna go with he kept failing his weekly tests and they couldn't justify it. You want to make that accusation, show your test results.
