I have seen Shahzadi Rai for the first time. She has a big heart with patience. She explains her pain (and of khawaja sira community) in such a polite way that i have never seen in my life. She is true human right activist. This podcast was my favorite of all time. More power to you and shahzad bhai god bless you. People like you are real assets of humanity.
I'm so glad that Shahzadi made it here and you all got to listen to her - she's been mercilessly attacked and trolled online by the far right and she's shown incredible resolve and strength
And in India transgender is recognised as third gender. We have transgender Judge, lawyers, college Principal and even had a MLA. Indian parliament has passed The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 for protection of dignity and rights of transgender people.
@ashu8669 Thodi nahi bahut badi problem hai. I think parents of transgender kids, adult transgenders and civil society need to come up and claim the legally provided rights of transgenders. Transgenders need to get out of the mindset that society won't accept them. Education is the first step for their welfare. Also, as a group they should discourage the activities like begging and prostitution done by its members. Focus on skill learning. As a society also we need to be sensitive and accomodating but the real impetus which could change their perception in society has to come from the transgenders .

❤ Ms. Shahzadi Rai! Hats off to you for standing up for your community, for how you communicated your message, and for your courage to stand up for your rights. While my heart cried for your suffering, you also taught me something - never-ever to give up. Please continue with your uphill battle: it’s possible that you may not win it in your lifetime, but the life is about falling down seven times and getting up for the eighth. Mr. Shaikh! Thank you for having the moral courage to host this podcast and allowing us to delve deep into the evils and injustices of our society. A civil society’s ultimate ascendance should be judged by how it treats its vulnerable, and giving Ms. Shahzadi an opportunity to voice her views was exactly what you did. And I can’t agree enough with your words ہم سب نے ایک ایک پتھر پھینکا ہے - that makes me feel so guilty and ashamed, and so should all my countrymen. PS. If I can contribute a humble bit through ‘Patreon’ for Ms. Shahzadi and her cause, I will consider it - both my duty and privilege - to do so. Mr. Shaikh! I'll appreciate if you will please have this conveyed to Ms. Shahzadi.

Hi Shahzad, greetings from Kolkata, half a world away from the India (North & West) you are usually acquainted with. As with most Indians I've recently stumbled upon your work. I've silently watched most of your recent work, but couldn't contain myself. Please convey my wishes to Shahzadi. She's a powerhouse. More power to her. This is the only video of yours which I've shared with many. Kolkata is probably the most liberal large city of India, still, her aura & power is like Durga which we Bengalis worship. Awesome work on your part as well. Keep up the good work. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
This made me so emotional .. Thank you for bringing awareness and thank you for inviting this brave and wonderful person! Let's not forget humanity is above religion, community, gender, country .. everything!
Needless to say that I cried. But more importantly, i have learned so much about transgender community and the propaganda against them. I am definitely going to make some "adjustments" in my behavior towards this community. I won't say I hated or disregarded their rights in anyway but I also didn't empathized enough and i guess that's what these propagandas do to a person if not actively, then passively. More power to you Shehzadi!
More power to you Shezadi. Plz don't loose hope. And Shezad kudus to you ...what a way to conduct this show ...... Such a sensitive topic .... Love to both of you
Plz invite female sports stars, youth entrepreneurs, filmmakers as well. God bless Ms. Rai and good luck to her for her future endeavours. Keep up the good work Shahzad.
In India if transgender need a certificate they have go to district magistrate office and then they have to ask for it . What humiliation they suffer no one can imagine and no reservations in jobs. This is our subcontinent problem
love the emphasis on the overall message that even if you don't agree with everything, spreading hate toward a community that is already suffering is not the answer
Standing ovation to you both! Growing up in Pak i always saw my ammi always having conversations with khwajasaras on signals even given them lifts in our car to various places. She always spoke highly of them with immense respect and empathy. I also remember a khwajasara named Saima visiting our house often and having chai with my ami. One day when she left, my ami was in tears and told us that she told her the most heart breaking thing, she showed her a tattoo of her name صائمہ on herself and when my ami inquired why she got it, her reason was that when she is found dead atleast somebody knows her name! Allah o Akbar!! In a country founded in the name of Islam, a religion supremely civic and based on human supremacy, a human being, a life created with all its nuances and intricacies is treated so inhumanely that one has to engrave its name on flesh for it to be remembered!! Allahu Yarham!! May Allah bless my ammi's soul in Jannah! Ameen
Thanks for this podcast Shahzad and Shahzadi.. I'm generally very sympatric towards transgenders yet I try to avoid sharing public spaces with them etc. And now I'm thinking why can't I? aren't they human? Thank you for making me think that.
My parents taught me trans are form of god, they got the power of male and female and their blessings are from heart that will definitely affect your life, and i am glad that now new generation and even some older generation are now accepting trans, and even indian govt. now have 2019 act for protection of trans...
Getting to know about a community that exists in our own society yet not knowing about them at all just because they don't get the representation was the first realization that I had. Also a big credit goes to you Shahzad for maintaining such a decorum which allowed her to fully express her feelings.
Great podcast and love the perspective inside their lives. I am also a huge fan of Maulvi with an attitude as he explains religion beautifully. I just think it'll be better to also invite him to the podcast and ask him these questions face on instead of just clustering him with the TH-camrs who make anything and everything for views. I just think he's knowledgeable about his field and sometimes listening to both ends of a story are also necessary.
Shahzad Bhai I am doing an outdoor field job I listen to all your podcasts on Google podcast but for this I came here to just tell you. You are amazing and how much hate you are getting and still you are supporting them, aurat march and every other thing which needs attention. I love you Bhai seriously I cried while listening to her. Allah pak ham sb ko seedhay rasty py Le aye . Ameen
I'm so glad that a platform like this exists. This is what will bring change. Inshallah. Previously, I feel like we didn't have enough close access to the trials/ needs of the community
Shehzad, I cried after watching Aleena Khan on your podcast & got overwhelmed today as well but seeing Shahzadi Rai gives me hope for one of the most vulnerable sections of the society. Thanks Shehzad for this wonderful session! & More power to you Shahzadi Rai! You are indeed a Shahzadi. 👍👍👍

❤
Yaar i need subtitles to this. This powerful episode needs to be heard as many people as possible
Shahzadi is such an inspiration. Sending her so much love
❤
I need to watch something light to be able to sleep after this ... Dimagh ko sun ker diya ... It's so real and it's their lives
100%
Such an emotional yet beautiful podcast! Thank you so much Shahzadi for sharing what you shared! So much love and respect for you!!!♥️🥺🥺🥺

Thanks for being honest and open about this introspection.
Something changed deep inside me after this podcast
Lots of love for Shahzadi!!!!❤️ And thank you Shehzad for having these conversations.
❤
Salam, another great podcast. Amazing guest.
May Allah grant ease to Shezadi and her community.
🙌
My parents taught me trans are form of god, they got the power of male and female and their blessings are from heart that will definitely affect your life, and i am glad that now new generation and even some older generation are now accepting trans, and even indian govt. now have 2019 act for protection of trans...
Thanks for conducting this podcast and kudos to shehzadi
🙌
Getting to know about a community that exists in our own society yet not knowing about them at all just because they don't get the representation was the first realization that I had. Also a big credit goes to you Shahzad for maintaining such a decorum which allowed her to fully express her feelings.
SUCH A GREAT YOUNG BRAVE LADY
Great.....as usual. Enjoyed watching.👏
Khush raho...aabaad raho 🤲

Gut wrenching. Truth is often very very bitter. Uncovering the the uncomfortable aspects of societies is worth a deep praise.
You’re doing a great service to the Pakistani awam through these podcasts.
Thank you❤

I'm so glad that a platform like this exists. This is what will bring change. Inshallah. Previously, I feel like we didn't have enough close access to the trials/ needs of the community

Shehzad,
I cried after watching Aleena Khan on your podcast & got overwhelmed today as well but seeing Shahzadi Rai gives me hope for one of the most vulnerable sections of the society.
