Oh wow! What an amazing teacher! clear step by step instructions! You not only control all the technology for creating the block, but you also control the technology to create an impecable youtube experience. You were so clear without overwhelming us with excessive explanations of every single thing these machines can do. Wow. What an inspiration for me. You are truly a master at your craft. Thank you so much for your videos.
I'm a little behind, but that was an awesome explanation, very clear step by step. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. This opens up a whole new adventure in appliqué. Thank you, thank you!!
This was wonderful Becky! I have watched ALL of your classes everyday...so this just solidified everything! It just reinforced what I thought I knew...soooo happy!! I actually think I can do this now!!! Hope all of you have a wonderful cruise...can't wait to hear all about it! Bon Voyage🐠🚢
Aren't embroidery machines amazing!! Add Becky's knowledge and it is double amazing. I am attempting a banner to hang on my front door with just the wording (vertical) and 3 monsters hanging beside the HH. Also, I am sewing the old fashioned way. So much fun!!
Wonderful video. I especially liked the SNC I will take mine out to work on it now. I just get confused where to put the fabric/ fusing material. Have a wonderful cruise. Thanks a lot.
Excellent video that will be a great reference tool. I’m still a little confused about the broken graphics and hope future videos explain this a little more. I wasn’t going to do this project but think I’ll buy the pattern just so I can learn!
Learned about welding! That would have made it much easier! I taped the pattern pieces that overlapped together before scanning. Becky’s method is easier.
Hi Becky! I'm very excited to follow you creating Amy Bradly's Christmas quilt using the Snapplique. I took this lesson "Baby Steps- Ghost " using the Santa in the Christmas Santa. I took my finished PES design to my sewing machine but it says the design can't be used. I have not idea what I did wrong and was wondering If. you have any suggestions. I have been following you for years and have learned so much from you.
Is the design too big for your hoop? If so, then your machine can't 'see' the design. For the body, you'll probably have to use a domestic sewing machine to stitch that on. Then do multi-hoopings for the remainder of the parts and pieces.
Thank you so much for your quick response. I did make the design smaller to fit a hoop but it still could not be used. Will you be going over this when your tutorials start?
The "weld" information was great! Thank you! I am curious though... when you reconstructed your lines it changes the way the embroidery stitches out because the lines will be different than the fabric lines you cut out. Is there a way to make your new embroidery placement lines into new fabric cut lines so everything lines up correctly?
I was wondering the same thing but I realized you're recreating the whole file digitally so your cut file and embroidery file will match. If you're concerned, use the placement stitch as your cutting line by sending that back to your scan n cut or printing it out and scanning the print file. Becky--does this make sense? I'm new.
I am working on this design. First time using my Embrilliance and Stitch Artist in this capacity. When I go to draw the smile, I change the square to a circle and select draw with points. Then I lose my cursor!?!? If i scroll up its on the top and if i scroll to the left there is the cursor. But i cannot see the cursor on my mat! Can anyone tell me if i am missing something? Thank you
Thank you. I realized after i walked away from it that i may have been trying to create the smile on the jpeg. Crazy!! But thank you I have learned so much!
I tied it in a simple knot - like when you tie your shoe. I did not pull the knot through the needle. I unthreaded the needle, cut the knot away and rethreaded the needle.
@@PowerToolsWithThread I do this with my serger ALL the time! why did I not think about this for my embroidering machine! They are both fancy! all about saving time!
I talk about broken graphics. These occur at the company who created the commercial pattern. I cannot see them, but the scanning cut can. if the graphics are not connected on the pattern, then they are lines instead of shapes. To become appliqué, the lines must be fully connected to become a shape.
@@PowerToolsWithThread thank you. Next on my learning is how, if SA did not create applique stitches, to create them like you explain. I still have weird extra or not where they should be applique stitches on my ghost eyes/lids. Any other tips?
Interesting video. I would suggest you not thread your machine by pulling a knot through the path, It can cause issues with your thread discs. You should thread it as directed. IMHO
Thank you so incredibly much for your super thanks! It's very generous of you and I truly appreciate it. This helps me to keep creating great content! Big hugs!! :)

Thank you so much for breaking down each step for the novice!
I have lots of hope thanks to you!!!!!!

Enjoy your cruise! 🛳️ Looking forward to hearing all about it! Thank you for prepping all the HH tutorials in advance! 🥰
Thank you! I hope you have a great time while we work through your wonderful videos to make our Happy Halloween quilts!
Have a fun time Beck & Keith on your cruise, thank you for the halloween video's , I am not making the quilt but love to learn the snapplique from you
Enjoy your cruise! Thank you so much for taking your time to create these directions for us!
I just scanned the ghost at one time by trimming and joining the paper pages didn’t get double lines. But showing how to weld pieces is nice also.
This was a wonderful tutorial.. Thanks so much..
I am going to watch a couple more times.. Hope you are having a blast!!
Bit the bullet and bought 3. I love learning Snapplique! Thank you!
Thank you Becky for the Step by step instructions
As usual, learned something new today with you! Thanks Becky! Looking forward to the rest of the videos. Have a wonderful 🚢!

Thank you for these tutorials. Much appreciation❤ safe travels🛫🛳️
Thank you!,, I just purchased the quilt and the dbjj quilting designs. 👏👏👏👏👏

Great video! ❤️ Excellent instructions! I did have sound all the way through.
Finally got to start watching👍
Becky another fantastic tutorial!!! Still struggling with cutting - keeps getting stuck on my mat.
Have the best trip!!
I don't want all that heavy quilting under the ghost. How do I remove those hidden stitches?
Embrilliance will do that for you automatically.
Excellent TH-cam Becky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Morning Becky, Keith and Frito
I just called the Two Chicks store…..they’re out of the kit but will recut more if they get ten requests. I’m #5 so fingers crossed. 😊
Thank you I think I can do this at least I am going to try

I have a SnC CM350, can I use this process? Love watching even if I can't. Thanks so much!!
Yes you can!
I bought the software version you suggested but the remove overlap button is not there any suggestions
That button with the scissors is part of Embrilliance Essentials.
I have a sdx125 can I still do this on mine or is it too old now?
It's perfect! You can do this on the SDX125.
Are there designs that I can use with a 6 by 10 hoop?
My image is brownish in colour and not as visible as yours . What can I do to improve this ?
Do you have to have all of the embrilliance sofeware? I only have the essential version. Thanks
Thanks!
if u use applique wonder i use a brayer and leave paper on back because of sticky back
If I buy Stitch Artist 3 would I need to buy Embrilliance Essentials?
Yes, there are parts you’ll want in Essentials that are not in Stitch Artist.
Hi, Becky. When we print the pattern, should we use Actual Size or 100%. When I use Actual Size, the image prints larger. Thanks in advance.
Good morning everyone, ? Which is better on canvas workspace, download or not
I prefer the online version. But if you are going to be somewhere with spotty Internet, then you might want the download version.
Been waiting on this 😍😍
Why a 60 wt bobbin? My Stellaire uses a 90 wt.
Thank you

None of the shapes change and everything already lines up correctly

can i do this quilt with Stitch Artist ! ?
Why do you have to change the color back to black?
I am working on this design. First time using my Embrilliance and Stitch Artist in this capacity. When I go to draw the smile, I change the square to a circle and select draw with points. Then I lose my cursor!?!? If i scroll up its on the top and if i scroll to the left there is the cursor. But i cannot see the cursor on my mat! Can anyone tell me if i am missing something? Thank you
Try the Bezier tool - 2nd one in on the Drawing Tools. Don't hold down the cursor. Just click on one end of the smile, then the other, then hit enter.
Thank you. I realized after i walked away from it that i may have been trying to create the smile on the jpeg. Crazy!! But thank you I have learned so much!
can you explain that voodoo magic you just did by tieing your thread to change color and pulled it through needle? what type of knot did you do?
I tied it in a simple knot - like when you tie your shoe. I did not pull the knot through the needle. I unthreaded the needle, cut the knot away and rethreaded the needle.

Which Scan N Cut do you use?
You can see the model number on the machine when she is cutting it is the Brother SDX325.
Has anybody tried using this method with a Cricket?
way too many points. You can use the bezel handles to smooth the curve. Fewer points is better.
Get videos Becky!
