EQUIPMENT
► Brother ScanNCut - shrsl.com/4i2sd
► Embroidery Machine - To do this in a single hooping, you'll need at least a 9x12 hoop. It can be done with a 6x10 hoop using multiple hoopings and then some of the larger applique pieces will need to be stitched with a domestic sewing machine. Stencil adhesive works great when your mats lose their tackiness!
Thank you for all your hard work before you left. So grateful for the SNC part. Have fun.
Wow! this one was jam packed for me! I decided to make a list of all the things I learned from the vids while Becky and friend are floating on the ocean. Today I had to make a big list. I tried a much simpler pattern yesterday and kept having to go back to the Baby Steps vidieo. So today I learned:
Mark selvedge edge when scanning
FCM is same as SVG WHO KNEW!
Spatula the pieces off the Matt - don't pull
IN Embrilliance
To get ahold of a particular piece use the object editor
Overlap appliqué pieces to ease removal of hidden stitches
Once pieces are in place - LOCK - cool
Align Bottom - that is cool too!
Move the start and stop stitching
Rearrange objects to stitch placement line - final and check colors

Yea It is Friday and Monday Becky will be back
I’m not back until May 19th.
Becky, I have non-paper embroidery designs that I need to trim as I go. I also have the Brother scan and cut like yours. Do you have a video on how to turn the designs into a scan and cut file in order to cut my fabrics out?
You bet! Just search for the terms SVG and Embrilliance and you’ll see several videos that come up from me with those instructions.
When did she introduce Brother Canvas?
