The bunnies are the worst ever; I think because of the mild winter and no snow. The mosquitoes are also terrible, devouring us as soon as we go outside. Your yard is beautiful, as always. I just feel blessed that we aren’t in the tornado areas. We are blessed to be in Minnesota!!!!
Hi Nicole, your garden has been greening up since the last time and your beautiful flowers look amazing. I'm so sorry your bunnies love your garden as much as you do.
Try some epsom salts on that tomato and trim off the bottom leaves away from the soil. It needs sun desperately so I’d also try pulling it away from the house a bit and let it soak up more of the sun you do get. Rabbits do a great deal of damage so I’d fence in that garden too. The hostas will reflush IF the rabbits are kept at bay. Good luck Nicole and don’t let the bunnies win!!!:):):)
Hi Nicole, I really enjoyed your tour of the garden this week. It would seem that the bunnies have a strong population this year and a healthy appetite. My garden is just being devoured this year. They have eaten my hostas,my hibiscus, my snapdragons and nothing seems to deter them. I have tried Irish soap, red pepper flakes, and spray from the nursery, nothing is working! The only plants still living are geraniums. Oh well maybe next summer. Have a good week!
Think that tomato needs some sun and air circulation, plus trim off yellowish leaves. Maybe have to redo dog fence to include bunny lunches for a bit, or tie the pups out at different spots at different times to deter the rascals.
The bunnies EXPLODED this year!!! Try cayenne pepper on them. However it keeps raining so there is that also. Im not going to complain tho with the last two years being dry. Your garden is beautiful! Hopefully we will get some sunshine and a little warmth this week.
Hi Nicole. Your yard and the flowers look great🌺🌸 Everything is so green! Living in the country; I deal with deer and bunnies nibbling at the hostas! I’ve tried everything, including red pepper flakes; which seem to work, but you have to reapply after rain🤷🏻♀️ I put a little fence around a small bed of annuals that actually keeps them out. We also have a bumper crop of mosquitoes after all this rain that keeps ME out of the garden too!!😭🦟🦟 Thanks for the video. Have s great week!🤗
Your garden is looking lovely, as always. We sold our house and downsized to a gated-type community where the exteriors are maintained professionally, and there are lots and lots of colorful hibiscus that bloom nonstop, and loropetalum bushes that have deep purple leaves and get covered with mauve-pink flowers. It’s really pretty. I’m limited to a pot of airplane plants on one side of the front door and a pot of amaryllis that is seasonally confused, and pops up when she pleases. She doesn’t know that Christmas was 6 months ago, and is shooting up again now LOL. I need ferns for my perpetually shaded patio.I’m in FL, so heat is a problem. Have a happy!
Everything is looking great and so green. Love the Costco red geraniums pot. And the thrifted flower pot looks great with its three different flowers in it on the porch. Always love looking around your garden. 😊
I love all your flowers! Bunnies are such cute sneaky creatures. haha we have a family of them and they have been scoping out our garden but can’t get to it. I’m hoping the stay away as the plants get bigger and easier for them to reach.😊
I planted a dish garden this year, as I saw one of your old videos and loved it…. Went to good will, got some plates, bowl and cups….I love it…the neighbors love it too..love your garden. Your hostas must taste good. I see bunnies in my yard but they haven’t touched my hostas…love the garden…thanks for sharing..🐾🌺🐾
We have deer and rabbits that like to munch in n our garden, we use deer and rabbit spray, you have to use it a few times it smells horrible but it works wonderfully
I dug up all but two of my hostas and put them in pots on my deck because of the deer eating them. I did get liquid fence at lowes but it stinks, I got rid of pretty much everything they like hoping they will move on🤞🏻
Nicole the tomato plant may need some fertilizer and you can cut the lower leaves off so the plant is feeding the forming tomatoes. Your plants look great! The storms have been terrible this year! But we will keep gardening!❤😂
I love the black fencing you have in your yard. I have a med/large dog and may need to move to a rental place. How is the fence held in place? How tall is it? Where did you get it? Just looking into some type of rental friendly fencing for a place for my dog to go outside and play.
Hi! It goes in the ground with metal rods. Very easy to put up and take down. It did fade since we got it so we touch it up with rustoleum black spray paint. But overall we have been happy with our purchase. It stayed up all winter with all the snow no problems. We got it on Amazon.
I have a cat that’s always chasing the bunnies away I’m constantly outside yelling at him my neighbors think I’m crazy You can borrow him if you want to🥴🥴😵💫😵💫

My son has lots of bunnies so the last few years they have planted a bunny garden in the far back of their yard. They rarely have issues now.

Irish spring soap around my plants worked well to keep the rabbits away
I’ll try that!
Beautiful yard

So happy you planted one and are enjoying it!

My son tried coffee grinds in his flower pots as squirrels dug in them, it helped. I sprinkled hot pepper flakes around and helps too.
Wonder if dog hair would scare them ?
Hi Friend, Your garden looks great!
Thank you!

I’ll try that! Thanks!
Like your tin man hanging in your fenced garden. Do you have a diy on your other channel?
Thanks for the tour😊❤xo
No problem 😊!
What about chicken wire around the hosta plants. I’m gonna try that today because my host is being eaten also. Good luck.😊
❤
Lovely! How do you maintain the birdbath fountain?

OMG ..Your grass looks so vibrant! Beautiful tour!
Thanks for visiting!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
I maybe would give up on the hostas. Definitely a cage for the hydrangeas!
So sad on the hostas!
I think your tomato plant needs a much bigger pot....at least twice the size it is in.
Have u tried marigolds around the plants to stop the bunnies
Not yet this year.
I have a cat that’s always chasing the bunnies away I’m constantly outside yelling at him my neighbors think I’m crazy
You can borrow him if you want to🥴🥴😵💫😵💫
