Every video is a level up to your garden! The mulch looks great with the rock pathway. It’s been so wonderful to see Brent working with you in your videos! We know he’s there, but it’s great to see him joining in and being a part of your channel!
I watch so many garden videos, but I have to say you are becoming one of my very favorites. You are so practical and real as far as how much you can get done in the garden! You seem to think you are not as on top of things as you should be, but you garden says differently!
Thank you for pointing out the difference in the mulch. My dog thinks the wood chunk is a treasure and eats them! So I needed to find a brand that is not dyed and smaller shreds so he hopefully isn’t interested!
Hi Robbie, That looks so nice with the mulch down,, it's so pretty your side walk way, the plants are filling out and it looks gorgeous, yes that plant does look yellow on camera but I think it's lovely there, Hi Brent, nice to see you too , even if it was a quick glimpse 😊 You're so lucky to have that huge place to shop at ( Lowes ) I think you said, where you picked your mulch from was a huge place, nothing like that near where I live, I'd spend a fortune 😂 🌹xx
Hi Robbie, what gardener hasn't procrastinated about different projects and areas in the garden? It is still early in the season, now it done and looks great. A few more plants added and a larger stepping stone and your set.
Hello Robbie and Brent. I felt the earth trembling and realized that you went shopping and came home without a new plant, and Brent was on video, twice! What a difference some mulch makes to a flowerbed, it looks amazing 🤩 I believe that is the same mulch we buy at Lowe’s here in Oklahoma that it’s called Happy Grow. A lot of people were complaining that they could not find it under happy grow in other states and a representative said that it was called differently in other states, I love it. Also, yes on the stepping stone in front of the water fountain 😊
Thanks Robbie it looks GREAT ! We used to be able to get our Katie to sing, she would sing happy birthday and we could get her singing when we started singing. Freya reminds me of our Katie ❤️💐💚🙃
I love your garden, it looks gorgeous! Regarding the orange flower plant, I think it’s beautiful and there’s a hummingbird (16:16) that agrees with me. 😊❤
Wow! The mulch makes your beds look amazing! I feel like I need to run out and grab me some mulch too! I'm loving your flower beds they look so beautiful!! The plant selection. Loving it! I usually only plant things that have flowers, no greenery. But after seeing your beautiful plants, maybe I will incorporate some into my garden. Did I mention before, I really enjoy and look forward to your videos every morning. Those haters really crack me up! So unhappy with their lives, they gotta hate on us happy, beautiful people. Don't let them get to you, just gotta keep on doing our thing! Everyday, we take one step closer to our dreams. but anyways, I watch your videos and have my coffee before I start my day. Your videos get me motivated to get in my garden and do something! Thank you!!!!! God bless!!!
Every video there is something exciting. Fraya you are so cute, singing with the sirens. Love seeing Brent in the videos. So many toads. The mulch just does something to the garden, makes it feel complete. Although I would still plant in the empty spaces. Enjoy the rest of your day.
It's amazing how mulching can make the landscape look magical. I'm hoping to do the same on my property. Freya's howling sounded like a sweet surprise at the end of your video. She's beautiful.
❤ It's so much fun watching someone else work, lol I have worked so hard creating cottage English gardens around my home... Work is never ending..😏😌 so rewarding 😊
Good thing you didn’t mulch earlier because you wouldn’t have felt the need to plant there at all! 😂 loving the look, I think you’ve motivated me to re-mulch my front yard beds, and I quite like your choice of mulch. Oh, and hello Brent, it’s ALWAYS nice to see you! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 Freya is hilarious, glad she’s got your back!
Hi Robbie! It was great seeing Brent again. Hearing Freya howling was too cute. The mulch really did make the beds look fantastic. Maybe you could set something up on your phone to remind you to mulch next April. ;-) Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi Robbie, I'm so glad I'm not the only one with weeds! Your side yard looks wonderful. Small suggestion ... how about making a stronger statement with your stepping stone by the fountain? Maybe something a bit larger and more rectangular. Keep up the great work.
This is BEAUTIFUL! The mulch really does make a difference. Also, I just wanted to let you know that I was watching one of your videos with my mom recently... it had been a really sad day for us, we had said goodbye to a beloved pet. (I know you know how awful that can be.) After we watched the video, we talked about how your energy was so joyful. It was just so refreshing after a tough couple days. So thanks for being you and sharing your excitement for the garden! Your spirit really lifted our spirits!
I have that same weeding tool, mine is at least 80 years old (yep, 80!) and mine is designed to rock back and forth when weeding - pulling the weeds in both directions. Works like magic. Beds look great - love the smaller pieces of mulch too.
I misspoke - this a.m. I pulled out my garden tools, and the tool does not rock back and forth. Just a slight rock but I attribute that to its age. As I age, I 'rock' a little too 🤣🤣🤣
"Probably grab a plant or 2 because that's who I am as a person." 😂 Same tho, pretty much any time I go to a store that has plants one comes home with me, I've built up so much variety in my garden buying even just one quart size perrenial one my weekly grocery shopping over the last 3 years.
It looks great!! Does the weed tool get the root too, or cut the weed off? I wonder if it will come back if you don't get the root? I would love it if it doesn't come back! :)
I have this weeding tool, both in the long and short handle versions. I still use the regular weed (fork tip) for pulling up dandelion roots etc as well as other vining type roots. The right tools make all the difference! 😄🇨🇦
Robbie, if you put individual large pavers in the gravel walkway, do you think the pups would walk on the pavers? I love Freya. She didn't like the ambulance. Your place looks so pretty. You and Brent are doing a great job.
I have never commented on any TH-cam but you are so funny. I just couldn't pass this up. Your comment on not mulching and to come up there and fight you if you don'tdo it sooner, I can't stop😂 laughing even days after watching the video. Great way to start my day. Btw. It was so nice meeting you last Saturday at the PW pop up event 😊.
I know the mulch struggle, I bought 50 bags couldn't fit them all in one trip had to go back 1 hour trip one way. 3xs. But it's like the paint on a wall. Just makes it clean and plants shine.
Morning, I have a Hulu Hoe and find it works best if the ground is dry. The best part is you don't have to bend. Your walkways look great, I like the natural undyed mulch too. Have a lovely day.
Looks great Robbie, so finished looking. Also look at your video around 16:15 and see the hummingbird coming in for water!! So neat. Again, looks great and have a great day! 🥰
I guess I will have to go back home to California next April to make sure you get your mulching done! Lol. So nice to Brent in the videos. Tell him we all love him too and it makes us happy when the joins you. The beds look beautiful, Robbie. I love that fine-textured mulch.
So pretty! I love that you added the stepping stone for the fountain. Also love the orange jasmine, please live with it for a while. You got a Hula Hoe! They’re the best! If you find it gets dull after a few seasons, use a dremel tool to crisp up the edges. Freya - awooo! 🐾🐾
I love that pathway mulch. Linda Vater in OK City buys it. My local Lowes doesn’t carry the “pathway” mulch…they just have the regular, chunky brown mulch. Makes a huge difference.
Robbie, I picked up one of those containers with the caladiums this weekend. I separated out the canna and repotted the others into 4 different shade pots! For the price, it was a bargain.
Robbie I love this mulch too! I do the same thing by calling around to the different Lowe’s then if they have it I will buy on line for a drive up pick up! I need an out 12 more bags to finish the beds. It always looks soooo nice! Power washing and mulch are like the lipstick on the garden! 🌹🪻🌺🌻💐
Love your videos Robbie and especially your personality, love your laugh..just wondering if you thought about putting a flowering plant of flowers on the pedestal in the bed you mulched? Looks amazing
orange is not my first choice for garden flowers either, but add something purple in front (nepeta? salvia? dwarf allium? lavender? veronica?) and I bet you'll love that pairing. I did it and was surprised at how much I loved it!
Robbie! The Cape Cod weeder is a great tool! I used it when I did professional garden maintenance and my whole crew used them too! Use it to scuffle hoe small weeds or use the pointy end on dandelion. There is a long handled option sometimes called a swan neck hoe which also works well. Stirrup hoe obviously works well for you!
Morning guys, the beds look great! I started mulching in the Fall the last few years and it has kept the weeds down so much better! I usually do it a little thicker and in the Spring I just move it aside to plant. It's also easy to just refresh it a little if needed. That side yard looks amazing now with the pathway against fresh much! Freya is the best! ❤
Every video is a level up to your garden! The mulch looks great with the rock pathway. It’s been so wonderful to see Brent working with you in your videos! We know he’s there, but it’s great to see him joining in and being a part of your channel!
Your side garden is gorgeous. The mulch definitely made it look even better, but it is just like a little magical spot.
Love Freya and her howling! So sweet!😊❤️
Ohmygoodness! Mulch is like mascara for the garden. That looks picture perfect!
The mulching really has improved the appearance of the garden.
I think we are wearing Brent down! We are seeing him much more often- coolio! The beds look great and Miss Freya - so cute
The mulch looks great! Freya is a sweetheart.
Yeah!🎉Brent! You let Robbie put you on the video! 🎉
Robbie the mulch makes your beds look amazing! Mulch brings it to another level!
Freya is such a character . She would protect you for sure. Nothing beats fresh mulch in your garden beds! 👩🏼🌾
Freya is a beautiful dog 🐶
I watch so many garden videos, but I have to say you are becoming one of my very favorites. You are so practical and real as far as how much you can get done in the garden! You seem to think you are not as on top of things as you should be, but you garden says differently!
Don’t discard of the Orange Jessamine, put it in a pot & move it somewhere else.
Love Freya’s howling…. 🤓
Thank you for pointing out the difference in the mulch. My dog thinks the wood chunk is a treasure and eats them! So I needed to find a brand that is not dyed and smaller shreds so he hopefully isn’t interested!

Mulch always turns it up a notch, your side yard is so pretty.
Hi Robbie, what gardener hasn't procrastinated about different projects and areas in the garden? It is still early in the season, now it done and looks great. A few more plants added and a larger stepping stone and your set.
My dog howls at almost every commercial and the theme songs at the beginning of shows. It drives me crazy! 😁🐾

Freya and the siren...precious! Love your side yard, now your plants shine.
Love the puppy singing. Be careful he may steal the show. ❤

You should not say you never finish a job. You just did and it looks fantastic! I love Monrovia plants hard to fine in my area, Go Robbie!
Fraya is there for moral support and encouragement! Go Robbie!
It's amazing how mulching can make the landscape look magical. I'm hoping to do the same on my property. Freya's howling sounded like a sweet surprise at the end of your video. She's beautiful.
Mulch makes such a difference in the garden. Looks beautiful now Robbie
Looks good adding large stepping stones in the gravel will look good plus be more comfortable for the dogs
❤ It's so much fun watching someone else work, lol
I have worked so hard creating cottage English gardens around my home...

Your backyard is changing every day and it looks great. Love your channel
Hey Robbie
Love watching your videos. I love your little saying " That's who I am as a person" you definitely need to put that on a shirt or hat. 😊
Great job Robbie. Looks great. And nice to finally see Brett on your video.
Hi Robbie, I'm so glad I'm not the only one with weeds! Your side yard looks wonderful. Small suggestion ... how about making a stronger statement with your stepping stone by the fountain? Maybe something a bit larger and more rectangular. Keep up the great work.
I like using Pathway ground cover as well. 👍🏽
It looks nice and net.
Love how your dog stay by you 😍

Wow...night and day with the mulch. Looks fabulous!

Here in AZ that weeding tool that rocks is called a “hoola hoe”.
I misspoke - this a.m. I pulled out my garden tools, and the tool does not rock back and forth. Just a slight rock but I attribute that to its age. As I age, I 'rock' a little too 🤣🤣🤣
The mulch really did the trick! Looks Great!!!!
Looks very pretty!! Mulch makes all the difference!! Great job!
Looks great, mulch makes the garden look incredibly beautiful 🤩
"Probably grab a plant or 2 because that's who I am as a person." 😂 Same tho, pretty much any time I go to a store that has plants one comes home with me, I've built up so much variety in my garden buying even just one quart size perrenial one my weekly grocery shopping over the last 3 years.

Oh, Freya!!! 💗 The garden looks AMAZING!! Well done... looks like I've got to get with it and mulch my garden, too!
I need one of those tools!! Weeding is the worst! 🌸Garden looking great!🌸
I have this weeding tool, both in the long and short handle versions.
I love the column in your bed that you first worked on!
I have never commented on any TH-cam but you are so funny. I just couldn't pass this up. So much better with the beds mulched😍🪻🌳🌺🌻
Looks so finished, Freya got in as well.
I know the mulch struggle, I bought 50 bags couldn't fit them all in one trip had to go back 1 hour trip one way. 3xs. But it's like the paint on a wall. Just makes it clean and plants shine.
I agree with Brent…thumbs up!! Looks great! Freya is the “goodest” helper 🐕😍
Good job....looks great, Freya is so funny😊
LOOKING FABULOUS! 🤗🤗🤗
Freya is so cute! Well that made such a difference. I'm definitely going to have to do it in my yard. Great job!
Love it! Freya is the best by the way
Morning, I have a Hulu Hoe and find it works best if the ground is dry. The best part is you don't have to bend. Your walkways look great, I like the natural undyed mulch too. Have a lovely day.
Good job Robbie it looks very pretty. The fountain sounds lovely 👍
Garden magazine ready! Gorgeous ❤.
Thank you for great tip on purchasing garden time mulch! Love the clean look of your flower beds!!
Looks great Robbie, so finished looking. Also look at your video around 16:15 and see the hummingbird coming in for water!! So neat. Again, looks great and have a great day! 🥰
Oh! Robbie. It's so pretty and restful. How About A Garden Your .😀
They look beautiful Robbie.
Good morning Robbie, what a difference mulch does for the gardens. It looks wonderful.
Looks great. Your effort definitely pays off. Love it
Oh my gosh Robbie. The mulch. It looks amazing. No sense in beating yourself up over mulch. I love how you are getting in little snipets of Brent.
It does look so put together. My dogs howl All The Time when they hear sirens which is all day long.
Mulch is amazing!!!! Every year I say let’s do the front at least then time gets away from me. Looks so good and fresh
I guess I will have to go back home to California next April to make sure you get your mulching done! Lol. So nice to Brent in the videos. Tell him we all love him too and it makes us happy when the joins you. The beds look beautiful, Robbie. I love that fine-textured mulch.
Way to go Robbie! It looks great!!
Absolutely beautiful.

If you find it gets dull after a few seasons, use a dremel tool to crisp up the edges. Freya - awooo! 🐾🐾
Love the look of fresh mulch. Suggest, try planting something purple beside your orange plant. Then see what you think.
Definitely looks better mulched!😎
Your garden is looking so good!
I love deep purple/black with orange. Maybe try a dark purple-leaved heuchera in front of the orange jessamine.
Fresh mulch looks good! Good work!
🤎🤍💚
Robbie the mulching looks amazing! Deanna
I love that pathway mulch. Linda Vater in OK City buys it. My local Lowes doesn’t carry the “pathway” mulch…they just have the regular, chunky brown mulch. Makes a huge difference.
What a difference this made 😍👌
Hi Brent 😊💕
It looks so well groomed. Great job!
Looking great!! So nice seeing Brent seeming a little more comfortable on camera🙂
Robbie, keep that orange plant.... it's beautiful. You want all colors in your garden. Good job on the mulch, it looks so good.
Awe 👋🏻 Brent . 💐💚🙃
Robbie, I picked up one of those containers with the caladiums this weekend. I separated out the canna and repotted the others into 4 different shade pots! For the price, it was a bargain.

Luv a clean garden❤
Good morning!!! Thats my favorite mulch here in the caochella valley! Mulch is extremely necessary here in the desert.
Morning guys, the beds look great! I started mulching in the Fall the last few years and it has kept the weeds down so much better! I usually do it a little thicker and in the Spring I just move it aside to plant. It's also easy to just refresh it a little if needed. Beautiful garden!
