Glad you won't paint the honey oak trim. It keeps the mid-century look of the house. It looks great. I'm surprised you didn't do the ceiling but I kinda like the slightly darker tone.

Everything turned out great. The dog licking Chris's head😂. 'are you filming' 😂 the picture was a sweet idea. I was reminded years ago when my mum was painting and our daschund put her head in the paint pot she was curious to see what was in there.

The green long leaf plant you brought in is a canna. Needs to die back and be stored cool and dry during winter to come back next year.

I love the creamy white paint with the honey oak trim. My trim is pecan but very similar in color to honey oak. I've been debating on a new paint color so you've given me something to think about.

I love the new lighter brighter paint colour. The flooring looks absolutely awesome! And you’re right it goes so well with the honey wood around the windows. What a fabulous transformation and realistic for those of us on tight budgets. You and Chris work so well together and it was great seeing Maddie and Hannah help too and all the gorgeous doggo’s 😊 👏🐾🐾🐾

Too funny how all three dogs immediately got on the new rug, lol. The room looks great, I love the new color and floor, much brighter. When the pandemic first hit, and things were shut down, I painted our dining room, living room and hallway. It kept me busy! I chose a white, and it made the whole space look new.

Oh another thing. I just bought a nice washable big rug from Amazon. We have a dog and I have a farmer hubby that doesn’t always take his boots off! 🫣. Maybe down the road check on that. I received an another in holiday looking design. I’ll take to laundromat.

I’ve been following you for years but today was full of laughs! My husband and I have a hobby farm but I was a city girl when we got married almost 9 years ago (second marriage for each of us). I was you around fresh eggs, chicks, cows and newborn piglets! I’ve even learned to can, garden, and butcher our own meat! All after the age of 50!
