@@grahamgetsabout2672 I’m looking forward to my 2 hideaways. They are not yet though. Your videos are very relaxing . I’m working my way through them. Thank you both.
Update for you Graham I made this cake I think my loaf tin is bigger than yours so it fit into just one but wow so tasty my husband said it’s the best cake I have made
Just watched this. They look lovely. This video has made my mind up which one to buy so thank you for doing this, I've been so undecided for a couple of weeks now and now that's to you both for doing this video it's helped make my mind up. Love your videos. I always look forward to watching them. Thank you again. Take care xx
Hi Janet, what is the decision you have made if you don’t mind. I’m not telling anyone what they should do but it would be nice to know I’m pointing people in the right direction. Well in our opinion. 😍🥰❤️😘👍
@grahamgetsabout2672 hi. I've decided on the 24ltr. I think it does cook/bake more evenly in the things you have done compared to the 22ltr. It was good to see you bake the exact same thing side by side in the same make of oven to compare the baking and the times it took too. I will be buying the 24ltr. Thank you again x
Hi Graham and Wendy, Linda here, I like it before i see it lol . I’ve got a small kitchen but I cope with all my airfryers . Not used the main oven in months . Electric definitely cheaper now. .
Hi Linda, we seem to cook almost everything in the airfryer now. You’re right it does bring the electric costs down compared to a standard electric oven. That cake was nice and very fruity 👌😍❤️🥰😘👍
That looks a lovely cake. I like using 2 of the 1lb loaf tins as means either 1 to eat and 1 to freeze or 1 to us, and 1 to my daughter. Ken wood is, a expensive purchase but a game changer. I would no longer be able to bake without it as can't hand mix anymore. The amount of baking you do it would well be worth it in long term. I am stunned with myself today managing to watch early not in wee small hours as usual.... I will maybe bake overnight tonight. ❤
Hi Dormouse, they were both nice. We need a mixer for the same reason really, it gets harder as we get older. We find two 1lb cakes cook better in the air fryers, although Wendy cooked some nice cakes in the dual blaze. Happy baking mi duck 😍❤️🥰😘👍
The cakes look great but you wouldn't have to worry about me eating too much of it as I don't like almonds or marzipan in cakes, another great video Graham and Wendy
Hi Richard, I think there is a taste with almonds and marzipan that you don’t get with just almonds. That sounds stupid as it’s obvious it’s the marzipan that’s missing but this cake was nice. 😂😂😂😂. I’ve read my message back and it still sound stupid 🤷♂️
Evening all, I watching you making the cake Wendy, hope your both ok, I'll prob natter on again when it's made.😃 Graham the Kenwood are the best, my mums lasted forever mind you in those days things were so well made, British made, they went on forever😃
Hi Christine, they talk on tv about make do and mend. You can’t do that now unless it’s something built years ago. Most jobs I ever had finished up going abroad 🤷♂️. At least we still have cake 😂😂😂🥰😍❤️😘
They look terrific and another great success for Wendy even with Graham causing untold havoc in the background. They don't look to difficult to make either. Now, when will that shed be ready? All those lovely cakes and I cannot get my gnashers on any yet. Wonderful stuff.
Hi Vince, I’ve been thinking if we’re going to cruising around with you I’ll throw the soil out of that flower box I mended and there’s a bed. Is that even more attractive mate 👌🤞👍
Hi again, I will certainly be making this. My hubby adores bake wells, cherry ones, so I had better do that he he. If you dont mind, I have a quick question, am I right in thinking that the 24 litre oven only goes as high as 140 on the bake function? We have started to do bread and cakes more frequently lately and this temperature is not high enough for bread and cakes. You seem to be able around it, so some advice be much appreciated. Take Care Jane
Hi Jane that’s a good Question. You right but I’ve found the bake setting use 140c max on the low fan speed setting. If you go on the toast setting it cooks the same but use’s the higher fan speed. I did ask hysapientia about this and it’s to protect the machine from overheating on the lower fan speed. I hope that makes sense. What machine do you have at the moment? 😍🥰❤️😘👌👍
Hi Graham, thank you so much for replying, I really appreciate that. I am currently using the 12 litre Cosori oven I bought via your link from Amazon. I think that I will stick with this. I have 3 other appliances. I was musing about getting a bigger one, but I had better leave some work top space to dish out tea. Take care
Hi Faisal the HYSapientia 24 only gives a low fan speed at 140c or below. The cosori is more flexible and goes to 175c on bake. I often just use the air fryer setting. 👍
Those cakes looked so lovely I think any soft fruit would be nice inside the cake I'm glad I got a hysepensia than another as it bakes so fast you said you thought people thought you worked at the home your aunts in well my hubby is in a care home he's got parkinsons and mental health issues and one day I was waiting for a taxi to take me home just out sideof the home I was sat on my walker seat and a man came out of the home and asked me are you OK and should you be outside I said I don't live here I've been visiting my husband the man said oh and hurried off well I was laughing when I told my son and he said well itcan be arranged for hou to live their cheejy young devil love to you and wendy and I hope you've got some cake left for tomorrow love fran ❤xxxxx

I often think it’s the visitors that have all the strain worrying about their loved ones. Having said that it’s a funny story Fran. I bet your son did laugh, you know we would. Hi you two!! I wish we lived closer. I have a Kenwood mixer you can have!! I have repaired my old one so I don’t need two! Cakes look great!! Mouth is watering. ❤😂

@@grahamgetsabout2672 yes, I was lucky enough to be an electronics technician when I was at work so was able to buy a repair kit and do the repair myself.
