- Finally the new season is here! Let's take a look at how the teams are shaping up after a week of testing in Jerez! We will run through all the teams entering the 1989 F1 season as well as all of the competing drivers. Who do you think is favourite for the Championship?

Many great looking cars.
Well, the lads at Honda certainly cooked one hell of an engine for our car: everyone in the paddock is having a closer look at ferrari who gambled on this new fancy tech thing called "sequential gearbox" where the clutch is only used for getting the car moving; in general, we think that 1989 will be a warm-up year and all the big teams will start pushing in 1990.

James what F1 Challenge version are you using for this series? You drive one of the Streamline cars or you are always spectactor?
F1 Challenge 1989 by C&D, the mod itself is completely broken so I've had to change a lot of stuff to get it working but I needed the car models from it. I drive as the Streamline
Will it be mentioned that Ferrari adopted the first ever semi automatic transmition ?

Ferrari are predicted 3rd behind lotus, but based on driver predictions they should be ahead of lotus? Or am I missing something
The driver prediction is just where they placed in pre season testing, the team prediction is just my own prediction for the champ so just ignore it

The drivers prediction is just based on their speed in pre season testing and the teams position is my own predictions, basically don't pay attention to what I say
