About 10 words of nouns start with Hamza tul wasl
If a Word start with sukoon in Arabic, we need to import an alif which is dropped when it is joined with another word.

Mus-haf is printed form of the Qur'an. So it cab a large Mus haf , Indian Mus haf etc
Egyptians do not use word Quran as they find difficult to pronounce Qaaf
Thus they always call the Quran as Mus haf
    And that may cause confusion

7:40 the word Allah ( اللّه ) a proper (noun personal) name not derived
the Sheikh mentions only the Alef ( ل ) omitted from the word Allah in bi-lah and li-lah and written as لله , ل + له ..
But if you notice that actually the Alef and lamed ( ا ل ) are omitted from the word Allah
Alef retained in YaAllah ( يالله ), why retained only in this word?

      لله

This is rule for preposition " لِ" dear.....Normally for the definate noun which is has "ال",the الأَلِفُ will be ommited if attach to prepositon "لِ"....Examples:
      لِلهِ (لِ+ اللهِ)
      لِلنَّاسِ (لِ + النَّاسِ)
      لِلرَّجُلِ (لِ + الرَّجُلِ)
      and etc...
      But others حرفُ جَرٍّ dont make the الألفُ ommited.Examples:
      بِاللهِ (بِ + الله)
      مِنَ اللهِ (مِنَ + الله)
      عَلَی اللهِ ( عَلَی + اللهِ)
      إِلَی اللهِ (إِلَی + اللهِ)
      فِي اللهِ (فِي + اللهِ)
      عَنِ اللهِ (عَن + اللهِ)
But the "يا" we call it حَرفُ النِّدَاءِ.This "اليَاءُ" if attach to any definate noun which has "ال" the الأَلفُ will not be ommited...Examples:
      يَااللهُ (يَا + اللهُ)
      يَاالنَّبي (يَا + النَّبِي)
      يَاالنَّاسُ (يَا + النَّاسُ)
Hopefully this explanation is clear to you.
