I have been pronouncing that word in the Ayah of Surah Hud like that for over fifty years simply just because that’s the way my mother recited the Ayah; and she recited that Ayah a lot. May Allah SWT grant her and all our departed parents Aljanatul Firdaus. Aameen.
Jazakumllah Khayran Ustadh and your team for the good work that you do.

    In my other Qur'an Mushaf
The raa has a kasrah under it
So I used to read it
    Majriha
(Even though I had a teacher he did not inform me)
    After a few years
I was listening to a Quran recitation
The reciter read it with a slanting voice
    Specifically, he read Majreha
I thought that he was reciting in other riwāyah
But then I listened to other recitors
Who recited in Hafs an Asim
All of them recited it as Majreha
    I was confused
There was nothing about it in the internet
(As I no longer had a teacher)
    So, I recited it Majreha
Finally you uploaded a video about it
    Jazakallah Khair
    Sorry for the long comment
    (My thumbs are paining)

I guess they couldn’t find the dot under the ر and realized it wasn’t a Unicode character so that’s why the kasra was there instead of the lower • dot?

You are not alone, many muslims are confused because there is no law or rule that was not invented by men after muhammad to try and rescue him and his Allah from the issues in the quran.

As a lebanese person we use imala kibra feature in daily speech. For example. "Baab" becomes "beb" but we don't use it for any religious terms like the Quran we just say Quran or Allah we just say Allah, but I know back in the day they would say "illeh" and would use the imala on such terms. Great work, but there are more than 2 surahs in the Quran that begin with الم... There is surah Fil, and also Surah Rum, and a few others that also have the same three letters.
1:35 And ayah 41 in surah Hud is NOT EXACTLY read with Imala. There is no imala in this word in the Qira'a of Ibn Katheer, Ibn Aamir, and Abu Jafar.

Imala kubra ressembles to the french "é" ( in opposite to the french "ai" which is more like hamza)
