Glad to see JOMW back meaning you back with TH-cam posting videos. Love your videos and honour your support of the true watch community by not posting on the tpg debacle. Keep it up
Really glad you made this video, much anticipated since the unboxing! Looks amazing on those NATO straps. I really want a black/gilt version but that doesn't happen I will definitely be picking this up
I got the white dial version of this and I think it works better with the polished hands and indices. And yeah I agree about the bracelet. The bracelet that came with mine lives in the box still wrapped in plastic. I wear mine on a Watchgecko kudu leather racing strap which I think looks awesome.
Great review. It wasn't until you mentioned the bracelet that I realised something was bothering me about this watch. I also can't help thinking the chrono dials are just a little bit too small. Agreed about the markers too. Chromed markers don't really work in my humble opinion! Increasing the length of lume along the markers is needed but not as long as the lumed markers on the other Lorier you compared it with. If these small niggles were sorted this would be a very, very nice piece instead of a very nice piece!
Nice in depth review of a watch I was thinking about purchasing. It has a $100 movement, $75 bracelet, a $50 case and a $499 price tag…I think I’ll pass. Although it looks fantastic on the black NATO strap.
I love this watch and lorier as a whole, I should be getting me neptune in the mail today bit I must disagree with you that they are homaging another watch. If that's the case than every watch produced outside of rolex and omega should be considered an homage. Both rolex and omega have set the design standard and almost every company draws inspiration from their designs. The reason I love lorier is that their watches are not homages but original designs with bits of inspiration to honor the OG watches of the past.
I like the watch I'm not keen on spending the money on a st19 powered piece don't get me wrong I love the seagull 1963 even after it crapped out after less than 2 years of moderate wear but it was aliexpress money not Lorier money

Glad to see you back my man! I really like this watch, but would have liked to see a display case back!
Love the look! And that bracelet dance was stellar!!

100% agree that this watch should be on a strap. That omega just takes it to a whole different level
Technically, seagull movements are Swiss. The company was bought out by mao and they haven’t really modified them since then

That’s a beautiful watch. Keep up the great work 👏
Good review. You seem a bit dissatisfied with this purchase so let me take it off your hands (at a significant discount). 😉
It’s a nice looking watch Chris.

i agree the bracelet seems a bit out of place
LA time calculation didn’t quite hit the mark
What is the maximum turns to wind on a st1901 movement I've never owned one
About 50
@@watchmegobroke4365 alright, thanks. Can you damage by overwind? Unlike a auto NH35 for example. And my Lorier should be here this week sometime yay
It has a clutch that stops it when it gets to maximum wind. You should love the Lorier!
