I honestly don’t dislike a single one of these picks. The situation with Penn State’s lineup through 149 and 174 is very interesting. I’m curious to see where Ben Davino ends up, whether it’s 125 or 133. And Sammy Sasso… How do you not root for that guy next year? It would be such an amazing comeback story! I’m hoping Nagao transfers….His skill set isn’t what it should be, and he had zero good wins this past year. Nagao got majored by Marlon Yarbrough for Christ Sakes. The scary thing for the rest of the NCAA is if Carter and Kerk return, and Penn State adds 30 points to the team race via 125 and 133. Certainly there will be a drop off at 197 in regard to points, but it won’t be more than 10 IMO. I’m predicting 7 in the finals next year with champs at 125, 141, 149, 157, 165, 184, HWT. I have Carter at 184. If Penn State has 7 champs, and team scores at around 190, how badly will Ryan whine next year.
Starocci won't bump up to 184, especially since he's cutting down to 74 kilos for the Olympic trials and Olympics. He's not gonna be gaining 10-15 pounds before the season starts just wrestle at 184.
