Thanks for the video. It is nice for smaller wrestling states to get some recognition. PA is the king of folkstyle wrestling, but Illinois is the best freestyle and greco state. If you predicate the success of Illinois based on college, it's one of the less successful good states, but if you take a look at the senior level and hs level, Illinois is super tough.
Illinois is great at the international styles but does the u16 and u20 team rosters back that up? Im honestly just curious if there are more Illinois or PA kids on those teams.
@@letsssgooo4618 I'm having trouble finding the 2024 u16 and u20 roster, but Kamal Bey(greco) and Kennedy Blades(freestyle) are both headed to Paris. I believe Domenic Munaretto qualified for the u17 in both greco and freestyle.
Otto Black from colorado winning jr 132 greco fsfs. 2 time winner already, Iowa commit, State champ, US open winner, U20 Pan ams Champion(just this week), U20 World team member, Cadet world team member, 5th and cadet worlds. This guys loaded. Hes winning fs
For New York i believe there are many studs with the one i would pick to be our best for the event would either be Luke Satriano or Cooper Merli Satriano winning Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco states this year and being a 3x new york state folkstyle state champ and merli being a 2x state champ and i believe freestyle state champ This is just my opinion tho w vid as always TrueTan
I feel like Jake Hockaday should’ve been the pick for Indiana. 3 time State champion, p4p number 1 in the state, and currently ranked number 16 in the nation.
@@Packerfan5827 I’m with ya, I was honestly expecting him to stay in state and probably go to Purdue. I’m excited to see him at the college level tho, I think he’ll do great at Oklahoma.
love the list but u absolutely fumbled with nevada by not mentioning manny saldate especially coming off his double gold at u17 pan ams also winning outstanding wrestler not to mention he is a previous fargo finalist, doc b and reno toc all american and the other accomplishments such as a 3x state champ and has taken multiple d1 visits keep up the great work really enjoyed this video!!
Wvu has got to lock up Myers. Def won’t be a college 125 but maybe 133-141 type. Gotta have it but we can’t seem to bring in the parkersburg kids no matter if they’re from park or park south. Can’t think of the stud who finished 2nd as a senior for vtech 197 but he’s now an assistant coach for tech so that hurts. Humphreys to Lehigh. Amos to Wisconsin and now Wright going to vtech. It sucks. Got to go back to Brandon Rader for the last time Wvu got a parkersburg stud. I’m sure I’m forgetting some good ones as well.

So cool that you spend the time to put this together. Fun watch.
Probably my favorite video you’ve posted! Love seeing the states not known for wrestling get a little shout out
Nice video, like the Ohio picks but you could have mentioned that Marcus blaze also goes that high school. What Burnett has built there is amazing

OU has amazing recruits in this
Sweet I made it! Made it losing and winning lol
What happened to Beric Jordan for Oklahoma?

Jax should count for North Carolina
Dreshaun Ross would have been a better pick for Iowa. Schwab may not be the best cadet for Iowa.
@@troyrider9707 I 100% agree but when USA wrestling posted Iowa’s roster he wasn’t on it so it missed the edit.
Team Vermont is has 2 1st year Cadets in Hunter Gordon at 138 lbs and Cody Savage at 175 lbs.

You left out the best factoid! The two Ohio kids you selected are HS teammates with Marcus Blaze!
Ladarion Lockett for Oklahoma.
Virginia got to be the most underrated state

gleason from missouri is an animal
Marcus Blaze isn't going to Fargo?
I think he is not going since he is on the world team. Im pretty sure most of the world team members arent going to fargo unfortunately
Thought the same thing, Perrysburg has a deep team
No Micheal mocco for Florida?
Texas should’ve definitely have been Jake Moon. A state champ and committed to Oklahoma
They had Texas right.
Hawaii wrestler is pronounced "Tiger" and last name "Tam". Great kid and great wrestler
I like Purdue but I haven’t made any commitment yet
@@ManaFager I think we accidentally said Trevon Gates commitment lol…best of luck this weekend!
Justyce zuniga my brother 🙈
Bear Sigel lives in Florida? Idk maybe that's how he got his bid
Post Fargo Recap? Best Wrestlers by State post Fargo?
You forgot Puerto Rico and they very likely have a winner😂
