This is how things were done in the west before WWI - by WWII screw machines were common and made things like this super fast.

I'm sure they make their jobs more difficult on purpose; to keep themselves in work.

This machine cutting the hex rod could have a bucket below to catch those nuts.
But in their culture, buckets are prohibited by religion, that is why they have to pick up parts by bare hands from the floor. That is also visible on other movies.

Every single process of this type of manipulation work has a inconsistency and involves a lot of manual handling which adds to the overall complexity of disorder and disorganised processes I’m staggered by their perseverance and determination to produce a marketable solution level of consistency product that is saleable and it effectiveness is determined by its questionable quality

I'm wondering how the tap is driven considering the nuts are passing over it once tapped. 🤔

В 1972 году, во время летних каникул , ходил подрабатывать на производство гайки, так там пресс из полосы пробивал сразу профиль и отверстие под резьбу одной операцией, 2я нарезка резьбы и гайка готова.

Dump everything on the floor and then pick it up. They usually do it 20 times in a whole process of each single piece.
No bench or tables, no transport boxes or crates, these people have no idea of ergonomy and making the production easier for themself.
50% of the time and effort is wasted. They are loosing their health by these unnecessary activities.

"these people have no idea of ergonomy and making the production easier for themself." These people, to whom you refer are using their employer's facilities (I assume) and the employer hadn't been introduced to Frederick W Taylor's book "Principles of Scientific Management" (1911) As a result, they're obliged neither to work as efficiently as possible, nor as hard as they might if he had.
Look up Schmidt moving pig iron. (important study) He was promised more money for working more efficiently. Upped his productivity by nearly 300% under guidance (from shifting 12 tons per day to shifting 47 tons.) but didn't have his pay raised to that extent. It takes its toll on bodies and on machines to raise production like that. The Wiki summary's enough... read it... I've worked in places where management sent the "Time and Motion" (now work study) people in, in the hope of upping production without much investment. Yeah, sure, we'll take heavier cuts, and use higher spindle speeds with old machines... See what your additional production costs you in downtime, pal...
I worked at roof level (repairing a crane) at a big motor component pressing plant (now long gone) and was amazed at the tortuous route product took from goods in to dispatch. (that doesn't help efficiency, is outwith worker control)
Then I saw film of a Kia pressing facility in Slovakia. A joy to see, with material moving in a logical manner from goods in to the assembly section... (and a beautiful working environment) But very few (and better trained / educated) workers by comparison. Meaning less able workers struggle for work...
