======== Lady of the Dark LYRICS ==========
Who shall be remembered, In the ancient House of war?
All the medals, all those stories, In the Alley of the greats
Celebrated hero, who has wandered through the dark
She stand before you, all that metal shining bright
Lost in time, returning to the light
Bow before, this lady fights for life
    So sister
Raise your hand, For the lady of the dark
Soldier with no will to kill, with a philanthropic heart
Forever break the norm, She’s the girl in uniform
Fighting side by side with men, she will fight until the end
Lied to be respected, and to change her brother’s fate
Took a bullet, earned her freedom, and a place among the stars
Served the Iron squadron, served the toughest of them all
No fear of dying, for the frontline she was born
Sacrifice, she took her brother’s place
War to war, a place where she belongs
    So brother
Don’t fear the reaper, don’t fear the war
She spared the life of brothers
    She’ll fight for honour
    She’ll fight for life
    A lady goes to war

Women can fight and fight hard for causes they see just.
Look up the book “They Fought like Demons”. It’s about women who fought on both sides of the American Civil War.
I can see, even as a moderate feminist, how war is fought mostly by men, but women can be just as vicious on the battle field when motivated.
Being smaller, lower center of gravity, a bit more flexible, and throw in a dash of PMS……….
      The enemy is doomed.
Why do you think the ancient Greeks told stories about worrier women such as the Amazons? Why the Daughter of Zeus, who’s biological mother was a mortal, was so revered and worshiped?
They had to have been inspired by amazing women that even the strict patriarchal societies respected them.

The Western world doesn't like Slavs. It is deeply rooted since the 19th century and the anti-Russian hysteria. For example, Poles and Russians traditionally don't like each other (to put it mildly), but Poles are still Slavs and jokes about Poles are told in America. The West perceives Serbs as "little Russians", partly because of historical ties, partly because Serbs are also Orthodox Christians and Serbs are assigned the role of villains. Terrible civil war in Yugoslavia in the 90s served as an additional catalyst for the demonization of Serbs.

The Serbian people are very grateful to You for this. Thank You to heaven. May God Almighty reward you for this. Because you are one of the few people from the West who felt the need to testify truthfully about us Serbs and about one of our greatest heroines. Glory to our heroes who died for the Holy Cross and Golden Freedom. Glory be to the Lord in heaven who protects our Serbian people even today, who suffered great suffering in the 20th century but also before.

Yet Hollywood, Television, Gaming, and entertainment in general don't make media about such women. I've seen way too many instances of them just lazily replacing the men with women. The same goes for people of color. There are endless numbers of stories about amazing women, but so called creatives are to lazy to do research into them.

Captain Flora Sandes-British volunteer, first nurse-later combat soldier ( Order of the Karađorđe's Star-Serbian highest decoration-for bravery) jumped throu military ranks very quickly, rank of Captain was given to her after the war. Antonija Javornik (Bjelajac -war surname, changed to protect her family in Austro-Hungary),Slovenian by nationality,13 medals-12 for bravery. She also participated in both Balkan wars. Ljubica Čakarević- Obilic medal for bravery, teacher-refused to teach during occupation-23 days avoided occupational forces while she walked (with group of Serbian guerrilla fighters) from Užice in Serbia to Thessaloniki in Greece to find Serbian army HQ and to give valuable info of enemy forces in occupied Serbia and joined army as fighter. Jelena Šaulić-Bulgarian occupiers killed her mother in 1917. during Toplica uprising joined rebels with her father -got fearsome reputation in enemy ranks cause of her bravery and skills with rifle and bombs.
