I had the radiator cowls and belly fairing in orange. I think it gave the bike a much more aggressive look. I always got compliments and people mistook it for a speed triple.
@@binauppal876 It's been a great bike so far. I got mine with 5k miles on it, and now I'm at around 10.5 k. No mechanical issues so far. About to replace the cam cover seal and bolt gaskets because I have an oil leak up there. Also replacing the spark plugs because it has been taking a few tries to start recently. All very normal maintenance. I've taken it on a number of 2-3 hour trips and haven't ever had problems. Also, since the tt600 is essentially the same bike, it makes finding parts somewhat easier. Also, certain bikes from that era use the same parts too (Daytona 600 has the same forks, and thus, the same front mudguard, etc.). I'd go for it if you find one in good condition---it's a super fun, badass looking bike.
I had a blue '05 one as my first bike ten years ago. Quick, comfortable, great brakes and light handling. Loved it but was snatchy at low revs as I had a race exhaust. Part exchanged it for an RSV Mille! I do miss having a naked bike!
Never heard of one, but I just saw one online locally and I'm looking for a 1st bike. Went to see if you reviewed one.... looks like a winner!👍Like the uniqueness.😁

I beg your pardon you are correct I asked my brother he is a triumph guru 600cc triumph speed 4 i never hear of one you learn something new everyday cheers.
I got a 2003 color black. I love it....there is no many bikes like that..😊 ..
I have an orange speed four with a TT600 engine swap. These bikes are awesome. A small windscreen really makes a big difference.
Why? The engine is the one thing that makes the Speed Four better than the TT600.
yeah bro why wouldn’t you just change sprockets its the same motor. you ca. make it go upwards of 150
@@mikesleik489 TT600 has forged internals. Dosent matter now, the motor blew up 4 years ago LOL

My mate had one with no rev limiters. It was insane. It never blew up no matter how hard he pushed it.

What was your top speed?
@@MrThebennettman it says 135 mph online.
I know but my R3 said 103 and it went 115 and my Suzuki bandit 1200 online said 145 but it goes 180 lol
@@MrThebennettman I think 135-140 on gps is pretty realistic man.
