- Join me on a wild camp during storm Isha on Caer Caradoc (Shropshire), with my trusty companion, Paddy, a 2 year old black Labrador! For this wild camp I will be joined by Steve from@fireicebushcraft3950who will be in his Lanshan 2.
This is a test of our tents as we camp in a storm!
Do our tents hold up to the high winds? Watch until the end to find out.

Good god, Michael! Looks like it was windy enough that you could’ve opened your tent the next morning and been in munchkin land 😂😂 fair play to the both of you, absolute soldiers 💪🏻
It was absolutely incredible. At no point did the wind let up 🤣. Enjoyed every minute of it though 🤙
Great video 😊👍
Thank you 🙏😊
Gratitude to you, mate.
You need to keep dragging me up these hills.
That wind was unreal.
Really wasn't sure if my little lightweight tent was going to survive. 😂
Left the hills smiling though, so all good.
Just get Paddy to drag you up those hills, he has too much energy anyway 🤣
The wind was absolutely relentless, the Lanshan was a beat in holding up 🤙
Decent video.. look forward to seeing the next one. 👍
Thank you. I'm looking forward to getting the next one up 👍
Up on the Caradoc in strong winds. Been there, done that 🤣
Catches the breeze up there doesn’t it. Fair play mate
It certainly does. That and The Lawley, probably two of the windiest hills in Shropshire.
@@mananddog.outdoors never been up the Lawley, probably worth a visit?
It's one to do, but as it's not the one of the higher summits in the area, I'd recommend to do it as part of a longer hike... If you wanted to make your walk longer that is.
@@mananddog.outdoors I usually try for shorter! Ha, thanks mate
