    Another adventure bagged! I like your honesty and the way you keep it all real. Videos are definitely improving with every camp 👍
    It would be nice to know what equipment you use on each setup
    Stay safe 👏

      I appreciate your feedback - I do enjoy trying to improve each time - glad it's showing 👍 Almost all the equipment I use in each video, is listed in the description - but it would be nice I think to do a video dedicated to just going through my standard kit list.

    Another great vid my friend. I was hoping you'd mention floyd. You made a good double act. Your meal was a challenge but when finished looked delish. Looking forward to seeing more adventures. Cheers mate.

    Great camp. Reminds me of camping on the clifftops at Eype on the south coast. 70 mph winds. Nothing fazes a trangia tho

      Cheers! 😊 I know plenty of great clifftop camping spots but have yet to overcome the fear of my wheels getting stolen or worse. Nature doesn't have a criminal mind...!

    Chwarae teg! Crazy camp with Isha! Nothing worse than waiting for everyone to bugger off before you can set up camp!! Some pretty fire fairies and another lush cook up! Thank you again 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

      Diolch! 😊 I had it easy I think - Storm Jocelyn seemed a lot worse. OMG tell me about it. Especially when a whole group walked right past me...staring. I do enjoy having a fire with pretty sparks - but will stick to solid fuel next time it's windy...those fire blocks are made of tiny chippings and sawdust. Aside from lots of sparks - a gust of wind blew the fire out at one point and filled the tarp with smoke. Sadly - I wasn't recording :-( I don't mind losing subscribers - I hope they find what they're looking for...but it'd be nice to know how I could improve before they go...

      Thanks very much 🖖 No point panicking until I'm really up *hit creek without two wheels! I don't see the point in trying to flog anything - I think seeing me use the same pieces of kit over and again, is enough of an ongoing review.

      @@WildBikeCamper yes some would say hardcore others say dumb ,they ok for emergency &odd one nighters, no degree of comfort ,can not stretch out or sit up tidy tho , respect for those who do it ,but comfort = enjoyment in my comic,😁 it’s amazing wot folk cook , keep um coming m8 🤘

      I also respect people for getting out there and pushing themselves into more and more extreme situations - they inspire me! But I know my limits - and agree being comfortable is more enjoyable. I'm sure one day I'll end up doing something equally hardcore and dumb! 🤘

    Great looking setup mate, a proper bicycle as well, e-bikes are cheating...love the jacket by the way!

    • @bobalinga
      @bobalinga 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      ebikes are cheating at what? I was unaware that going to the shops or camping was a competition. They are brilliant for disabled people to get out and about.

    • @WildBikeCamper
      @WildBikeCamper  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thank you! 😊 I do love my vintage bike - easy to fix if things go wrong. I have to play 'devil's advocate' here - I used to think all e-biking was cheating, but as
      @bobalinga says - they're great for people who may not otherwise have the same level of ability. But if you can do the journey without a battery and motor - all the better for you and the environment.

      @@WildBikeCamper I travel on my Brompton but also have an Ebike which is brilliant for bristol hills. I spent 12 years in a wheelchair and never will be fully able. Was going out camping on the Brommie this weekend but child been in hospital all week. Back and forwards daily using the Ebike.

    • @WildBikeCamper
      @WildBikeCamper  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      My legs are far too short for the little wheels - I'd be spinning and going nowhere fast. Those Bristol hills are tough! I've been in a similar situation - an eBike would have come in handy for the hill I was faced with each time - it's no wonder my knees are knackered. Best wishes for your child.

      @@WildBikeCamper heh. I find the Brompton easier than a full size but potholes can be a bit rough with little wheels.

    Hi there what's your name? Pleasef to see you have three stoves, excellent and your Fire dragon stove for which you use gel fuel, i never use gel i use the Hexamene tablet's, better i think, that little stove is great if you need to travel light or stop for a break from cycling for a cuppa. Like your bike cover yhat a great Idea. Always be careful about sparks from your wood stove which can put little holes in your tarp or tent. I also like your mini Trangia which want yo have my self, i have the normal Trangia because i prefer the liquid fuel it's my favourite along with a gas stove, thanks for sharing another great video, take care and all the best 👏👋

      @WildBikeCamper  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I'm Wild Bike Camper! 🖖😉 I have back ups for back ups. But it's a pain lugging them all about - I want to do a lightweight camp for the next video. Yes - someone else mentioned those hex tablets - I'll need to get some (for lighting fires too). I'll test the Fire Dragon stove again for a smaller task, in better conditions. I love how dinky it is! I won't be using those logs again in windy conditions - luckily no damage was caused - and it looked very pretty! I don't think it's a mini Trangia? Just looked smaller due to perspective 😉😁 I also use liquid fuel (ekofuel.org/) which I find effective and produces very little smoke. Glad you enjoyed the video!

      @@brianknight5840 I will buy some soon, but in the meantime I've many other options to fall back on. I've failed to make a fire only once (see my very first video)...not bad going! 😂 and I had my gas cooker as a backup. I've cooked under my tarp/near my tent so many times over the decades that I'm confident in what I'm doing...and to be honest - I really like having a fire in difficult conditions - I'm a bit of a 'pyro' 😂❤‍🔥
