Yes. This actually works. Because it works on your lips, jaw muscles, your tongue, your tonsils, voice box and breathing. Try it for a few minutes each day, or throughout the day. Kids do it all the time, and it helps them speak clear words with precision. Pitch thing also helps in increasing the voice bass and deepen it. I have been learning voice training for narration, in that there's one exercise like this one but this Vinh's version is with more steps. I shall also try this for my voice. Thank you Vinh❤❤❤
This is something I used to do it choir to warm up before singing. Definitely helpful, but I never knew exactly what it was doing, so this is very interesting. Thanks.
@@ds_007yt It can help improve your voice level. And the speech clearance like not slurring on words or mispronunciation etc. As for accent, you may need some practice. But this exercise will help in a lot of ways. It may help in singing and talking mostly.

Hey, I've been finding vocal exercise because of the shakiness of my voice. I'm really glad I found you and I hope you are able to help much more people with your contents!
PS- if you let your voice out in heavy pitch for few days, you'll get used to that voice. If you use lighter force/pitch, you're voice will get used to that pitch level. it's more useful when you do it for all pitches like "Do (normal voice pitch at you have no trouble speaking) Re (higher pitch than before) Mi (higher pitch than before) Re (lower pitch than before) Do (lower pitch than before, or normal voice pitch)" Or The rhythm is "1 2 3 2 1". Hope this helps.
One reason i believe this would work is that this makes your lips somewhat act like your vocal cords, that is, they produce sound while vibrating. And while trying this, I noticed that, I am not able to have a constant pitch or at times my lips won't flutter. So doing this might help me adjust my voice/volume to the point where I'm able to perfect the vibrations of my vocal cord.

This is actually my vocal warmup for singing and screaming. What this does is not so much strengthen your VOICE but exercises your diaphragm in a more active way, while also forcing you to use more breath in your voice so you’re not straining when vocalizing. That makes sense. You have to be present for the exercise so it distracts you from your thoughts. The long inhale and exhale calm down the nervous system and I think so does the vibration. That is why there are some meditation/yoga practices with humming.
