Just had my Yema Flygraf Pilot M1 delivered... its a beautiful watch, looks really well made. great service from Yema, made sure it was delivered before i go on holiday. I have to say though that once i put it on my wrist that 19mm lug width just makes it look a bit too small on my wrist. such a shame as it looks fantastic, would have been a perfect daily watch.
Martin Rea sadly yes sent it back, honestly it’s a really nice watch and feels way more expensive that what it is. My wrist is probably 7.5 inches but the strap felt too small for me personally but I must admit I’m used to a steel strap. I was going on holiday so only had a day to decide, kind of regretting it if I’m honest, really had me in two minds. I would advise giving it a go
Willard Hooton I sent back the black version. Honestly couldn’t fault the watch I thought it looked great, the strap should fit your wrist. Also I must say yema customer service were excellent also. Give it a go mate and let us know how you get on with it.
Will this new Yema Flygraf watch be compatible with existing Yema bracelets on other Yema watches like the current Yema Superman? The fact that this watch does not come with a bracelet is not good at all since the lug width is 19mm. It's VERY hard to find a good bracelet to match a watch like this one with a 19mm lug width.
Yema needs to stop making their 39mm watches 19mm. I would have already ordered one if it was 20mm. They are an enthusiast brand and I think it's safe to say that some of their enthusiast clients will like changing straps!! They even have drilled lugs!!!
With a 6.5-in. wrist, Yema had me at the 39mm diameter, but initially lost me at 12.9mm high and definitively at 48.1mm lug-to-lug (overhang territory). Not even one of their quartz watches can avoid the lost sale.
We are huge fans of the case as well. The official release is on the 6th July 2020. There is a black dial option definitely check that out. Let us know what you think. :D
@@JayB-lz6yd there definitely are 19mm straps available but not nearly as much variety as 20mm. Also for those like myself who have a giant collection of 20mm straps, none of them will work without squeezing them in awkwardly. I've already got way too many straps so I don't want to start spending money on straps for a single watch!
i bought a 38 mm dan henry chrono with 19mm lugs, annoyed me to no end, then i sold it and vowed never to get another watch with 19mm lugs. then i bought a 38mm hamilton khaki aviation with 19mm lugs. i sold that and doubled down on my anti 19mm sentiment. then i ordered this yema flygraf and will suffer it all over again. i really never learn. i need to start buying 36mm watches with 18mm lugs or 40mm watches with 20mm lugs.
Too bad it's a whopping 13mm thick. If this had been 11mm thick, I would have been all over that. As it stands, the Archimede Pilot 39 might not be as distinctive, but at 10mm thick, infinitely more wearable.
Labels other than swiss made are all china sourced even the german watches too, like junghans etc.. movement are german only, zeppelin has. A japanese movement and chinese case parts but its made in germany..😂😅🤣🤣

Nice beautiful watch. 690$ for an inhouse movement i guess is not bad considering the fact that Most watch brands use ETA and sellita movements and slap their brand on top. My personal advice, don't waste money on small brands. Save money and buy one Rolex.

That is a beautiful case. Would love to see other color dials on it. That case is a winner, looks like it can replace my khaki field auto

Nice for field but not so much a pilot.
Yet was co -designed by a stunt pilot. My only beef is the ghost crown stop due to the hidden date wheel, but I consider that minor.

That 19mm lug width is a massive turn-off.
A 19mm lug width can be quite difficult to work with, check out our 19mm range of watch straps. :D
