Back in the day....neighbor had rat problems with where the lady stored her trash....put out a peanut butter bread and wait. Sooner or later the rats would come...and one by one my old Sheridan took them out. Never got tired of doing that...this brings back memories of those days. Accuracy is amazing....
You can tell you have a reverence for the animals you're shooting, taking care to put them down with the quickest, most humane shots possible. Truly great shooting.
I was all set to buy the Sightmark Wraith 4k ultra but after watching this and other Hik videos I think I’ll save awhile longer and buy the Hikmicro they look fantastic. Gone are the days where we used to use a torch with a red filter for ratting. Really enjoy your uploads keep them coming please
Wow just stumbled across your videos after buying a .223 myself and i just want to say youre a pretty incredible shooter and your accent plus commentary keep me entertained for as long as i watch
Dang youtube! Never sent me a notice for this one. Just saw the one from earlier today and then came to your channel and saw this one. I really like these day time ratting videos. That scope sure does a nice job👍
Not to mention. A .177 cal. Pellet at 800 fps or more, scale for scale is shooting a car battery through a person. Love the clean shot, lethal shot, but that chunk of lead on the rats scale is huge. Really enjoy your postings Simon. Keep shooting, I'll keep watching.
Hello, Simon. Great job on the rats. I do think though that you must have hired some stunt rats to make those leaps, and to roll down the slope.😀😅 Cheers from Texas, and keep making your great videos. Good day to Jack as well.
Nice mixed shots., Day and night mode. Did I hear you right... You shot the bucket😮 the bucket didn't stand a chance 😂. Jack had the day off again. Good for him.👍
Real outstanding shooting, Simon. Wow. I've not long just purchased myself a Walther Rotex RM8 PCP in .22 after many years of not firing even an air pistol or air rifle. At the moment i'm getting my RM8 and Hawke scope all setup properly on my local gun range. I have plenty of farms near to where i live, so once my rifle is setup to feel spot on i'll go and pay a visit to farmers and offer my service in pest control to them. Carry on the great shooting sir :)
Thanks for sharing these videos of excellent marksmanship and pest control. Here in southern Arizona I try to keep the round tailed ground squirrels thinned out on our property. I sure would like to know what tripod/shooting rest you're using? Thanks again!
Well done Simon. A nice and precise setup in the hands of a good shooter. Guess it would be great also to pick air-rats (pigeons...) out of their sleeping trees where neccessary. Funfact: Over here in Germany, this scope is prohibited for civilians, because it has a reticle. 😫😫 Our gun laws are crazy... BTW I also use the trigger-stick. Maybe it would an option for you to try the primos 2-point gun rest made for the triggerstick. I´ve made good experience with it as long as the rifle is not too heavy. My Weihrauch HW110ST and my .22 Savage fit nicely and quite stable on it. My Bergara B17HMR doesn´t. ;-)
Great video Simon and excellent shooting and a very productive time at that permission and I'd say that I one rat 🐀 that did the super hero jump was his last. Cheers Simon and give Jack a hug from me.
Hi there our simon thats lvly set up have there 👍👍bro fantastic my griend good outig that was my friend glad to see you looking well buddi thank you so much for your time to go out for us all simon👍👍lv out to you and your family bro untill the next time simon give our jack hug and happy pestcontrol my friend god🙏bless bro be safe please👍👏👏👍🤣🤣😁

Curious to know what your entire cost is of your entire kit? Beautiful precise shots. I used to shoot gophers here in Alberta using a 22 long rifle at the longest distance I could manage.
@@simon6ppc246 Hold the phone, I've just seen the PARD DS35 70 or 50 LRF GEN 2 NIGHT VISION SCOPE. Have you used one? Should I go 70 or 50 for a 12ft lbs shooting up 50M.
I have a question if you can help. I love the idea of scopes like the one you use, shooting at varied distance and different zoom ranges are they more like a first or second focal plane scope ?
@@simon6ppc246 does the hikmicro feel like a second focal plane scope or a first focal plane scope when shooting at different ranges and different magnification
Another great video from you keep them coming 👍 do you ever use bait spots on any of your shoots.I always use blended up left over tea for some of my permissions just to keep them still for a second but make sure it's nice and runny so they can't run off with it.great shooting keep it up.

Certainly is precision shooting 👍🇦🇺

Truly great shooting.
Ye thank you
Now that is a little (make that enormous) difference from the Diana .177 with a worn hinge that I had about 60 years ago. Great work Sir.

Amazing shooting, so many right between the eyes on what are very small targets.
Thank you.
After killing all those rats are they collected or scavenged by other animals
Screw the head shots just waste them anyway possible. Any rats wounded will just be
devoured by the remaining rats which there are plenty of.
Stumbled upon this channel by accident, great videos. This is Integrated Pest Management at its finest!
Thank you.
