I know it’s a budget build but a positive drive pump gear is probably a worth the money upgrade for anything over 400hp so no danger of it ever slipping.
@@Mitch_1991 sorry I replied with a link so you tube blocked it but google Cummins adjustable p pump gear and you should find it. It makes the pump positive drive rather than friction.
Budget Build for some Dudes 😎 🤘But for some of us Dream Build . That is a stout Beautiful unit that will be Reliable and Enjoyed for many years to come Hopefully 🙏
I've been running AFC live on both of my 12valves for 5-6 years and love them. They make fine tuning way easier. I've never had any of the supposed problems that comes from removing the plate.
What gasket method did you use for the intake plenum kind of skipped over that and I see a lot of mixed reviews on mls or standard paper gasket and rtv or not.

If it slips we will but I've had good luck on a stock gear at 24* or below
I'm new to the 12 valve game. Just picked up a 97 5 speed. Can you elaborate a bit more on a positive drive gear? Is it keyed?

Make this a series. From modifying the 12V to install tuning and running.
Came out really nice! Should be a dynamite set up that will run great for a long time.
The pump gear moved when you turned the over when setting the timing
What’s your thought on a pre filter before the lift pump? Since the factory heater and prescreen have been removed.
Is the 60/64 turbo good for heavy towing with stock injectors? Or would a 60/60 work better
Love the build! Doing exactly this on my 78 ford Cummins swap.
May I ask what brand engine stand and lifts you use. Thx!
Harbor freight 2 ton crane, harbor freight 1 ton stand

Ball park , whats the cost of all the parts added without labor/ tools
He spent around 5k that includes the turbo and stuff though
Just do the rack plug while it's easy to get to....😂
How much does something like this cost to do? Looking to get my engine built for my 96 12v
Around 4-5k dollars due to labor on engine removal
@ how much with parts included
Im building a similar motor. How is this lift pump compared to and air dog or fass?
Not needed at that power level but not something you can't do!
Love it !
hell yea
What Size Are The DDP injectors?
DDP injectors are unique. They have 5 holes, plus 2 pilot holes. So they’re not your typical 5x.012, 5x.014 etc.
They are stage 2s
You forgot the high idle screw
It’s going to make more than 450hp.
Not on stock DVs
