I've stayed at it's sister, the Venetian. Really a fabulous beautiful hotel. I have been to Vegas many times before I retired. Glad I did when I was younger. Failing health of my wife prevents travel now. My advice, travel now when you are younger and healthy. You may not be able to do it later. That's why I watch these cool Ruby videos, brings back great memories. Thank you Ruby!
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Venetian/Palazzo. I proposed to my wife while on the gondola 18 years ago!!! Boy, was I so nervous. The gondolier yelled "She said a'Yes!!!" then everyone clapped! So memorable.

We just returned from Vegas few hours ago and we used tips you shared in your other videos such as booking directly with the hotel and the $20 sandwich trick. You are absolutely right: closer to the departure date, the price of the room dropped! Because we booked directly with the hotel, we were able to have price adjusted. We saved about $200 thanks to you. $20 sandwich trick worked at Park MGM -- instead of standard king room, we were given Staywell king room with a cute pool side view!
This suite is literally bigger than my apartment and I too was blown away by the space when I stayed at the Palazzo back in December. The pool area looks amazing, gonna have to come check it out when I rejoin the ranks of the employed....
One thing I want to mention is that the Starbucks inside the Palazzo as you head to the Venetian is one of the best in town. It's absolutely beautiful, and a great area to get your morning coffee and get some work done. The location is frequented by all the conventioneers. Also, you have a few other choices for coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks: illy which has some mighty good gelato and the St. Germain Cafe.

Stayed there a few months ago. Everything was so top tier. Christine at the front desk was the absolute best to deal with. Really took care of us and made out stay much more enjoyable. We stayed on the 49th flor stripe view and our room was immaculate , the security at the palazzo was very comforting as well. Won on the digital roulette and the fact that Walgreens is attached was super convenient. Bummed the adult pool wasn’t opened all week long but there were always chairs and towels. The frozen rosé was delish
Definitely sign up for a Grazie card at the Venetian/Palazzo. They constantly mail me vouchers for free rooms and I didn't gamble all that much last time I was there.

Just stayed there June 5th to June 7th…..amazing rate of $111per night plus $45 resort fee plus taxes……all in, $162 per night….a ridiculously low rate for what we got. My daughter was booked into the Venetian for the same time frame and they moved her over to the Palazzo and even got her on the same floor. Fantastic service-wonderful stay.
We love this property. Palazzo is slightly preferred over the Venetian but either is fantastic. I would describe the Venetian like a 21 year old on her first trip to Vegas and the Palazzo as her 30 year old sister having a weekend away from the kids and hubby.
I took my son to Vegas just after his 21st birthday. He loved the Venetian and I thought it was nice but your description makes me giggle as I was originally looking at the Palazzo but he wanted Venetian. We had it narrowed down to the fact that we were going to be there 4 nights and knew we needed to not be cramped. We booked a flight/hotel package and must have hit just the right time because it wasn't priced much higher than some of the "cheaper" hotels.
A regular Palazzo person here. I love it so much better than Venetian! The parking is easier to get in and out since its on the side. Also parking is very good! Easy to find parking during the whole weekend!
great recap of the palazzo, people who work over at the venetian call the palazzo the country club cause it's way more laid back and not nearly as busy. Palazzo tends to get higher end play as well.

Way back we stayed at the Rio, Caesar’s, Imperial Palace but my first stay at the Palazzo changed my whole mind where we wanted to stay while in Vegas. The rooms, the dining, the huge shopping area and so much more convinced us that the Palazzo/Venetian is the best Hotel to stay in.
I totally agree. The Venetian and palazzo is the only resort that we stay at and mostly gamble . It’s a city in itself. Our rooms are comp and no resort fees.

Hot Tip for the Palazzo! Instead of the crazy long line at Starbucks on the Casino floor, take the elevator up to the 2nd Floor for the Shoppes. There's a little hidden gem called CreAt. It's between the garage elevators and room elevators. Fantastic lattes! Even have quick breakfast foods! And I've never waited in line... Like there's never anyone in line. Only downside is they close at 2pm. But definitely get your morning coffee there!
Im at the Palazzo now and was looking forward to trying Creat. Unfortunately, it’s permanently closed. We walked by and it was all dark, checked maps and says permanently closed :/
Better yet, we purchased a collapsible kettle and packed it and made our own in the room. The line at Starbucks at the bottom of the elevators was crazy. About 30 unhappy people deep.
@@onthehill3381 not sure making coffee in the room is many peoples idea of being on vacation. But hey it's one way to avoid the lines. If it works for you, great! There is also a illy cafe in the area between the Pallazo and Ventian which does espresso drinks 10x better than Starbusks.
I'm at CreAt right now, they are open. I even asked about the permanent closure and they all looked at me crazy! They are open! But only from 7:30am to 1pm.
We’ve just come back home after staying at the Palazzo for a week, we loved it. Only down side was when we originally checked in they said there were no rooms available even though we & other members of our group booked the Palazzo almost a year ago, so for the first night we & most of our group had to stay in the Venetian. This took the edge of our initial stay at the resort. The Venetian was lovely, but much preferred the upgraded room in the Palazzo. A big shout out to Joseph on reception, he was understanding & a great help.
So far, Palazzo and Mandalay have been my favorite rooms to stay in. I want to try Wynn soon though. You can't beat the space in the Palazzo rooms and I love the pool complex.
Great video, The Palazzo is hands down, a very classy hotel. I'm guesstimating total cost of stay (room, food, gondola ride, drinks, coffee) would cost at least $500+ for two people per night. For a special occasion, $500+ is reasonable per day not counting any gambling that might occur during the visit. I have been a guest at the Palazzo and would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel a luxury experience.
❤ the Palazzo, the plan is well thought out. Instead of treking through the casino from the parking to get to the rooms. Go further back in the parking garage and there's an elevator that takes you right to the room entrance.

Great video! You and Mr. Ruby are the best! My wife and I have stayed at the Venetian and Palazzo numerous times in the past and I prefer Palazzo for all the reasons you mentioned. A word of advice -- because the rooms can accomodate up to 4 adults (sofa is a sleeper) our experience has been that the hallways and neighboring rooms can become quite noisy -- especially on weekends (bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc.). Otherwise, you will not find larger rooms on the strip for the price!
100% agree with this review. I hope one day, you guys are able to come down to Reno and do a review on a view casinos and resorts in the area, including the Atlantis, Grand Sierra Resort, and/or at the silver legacy. It would be nice to see what you guys think of Reno now that you live in Vegas.
About 20 years ago I stayed at the Venetian. I got a deal $99. What they didn't tell me was right outside my room they were building another tower and construction started at 7AM each day. The room was fantastic. I thought the pool was sorely lacking. TYhis looks much better. Thanks for another great video.
Most memorable hotel that I stayed in when I went to Vegas this year was the Palazzo. Service, rooms, the overall quality of the hotel made me want to come back again.

Best hotel in Vegas hands down. The palazzo has a much easier floor plan to follow, especially getting to the elevator. Brera has an amazing pre fix menu as well
I last stayed in a 1br suite at palazzo. the room was so big there wasn't enough furniture for it, and it looked mostly empty. Additionally, the furniture was old, dated, and worn out. It was disappointing. However, it's proximity to Cut was a bonus for staying there.
My husband and I were moved into a two bedroom suite after to absolutely filthy rooms that were both 2 queen beds when it was supposed to be one king. You hit the nail on the head. Not enough furniture, no thought put into the room. And, our couch looked like it was from the 1879s from the condition it was in. This was literally the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
I was honestly so shocked when you said you’ve never been on a gondola before considering how big of a Vegas fanatic you are, but I’m so glad you finally got to try it out✨✨ I got on the gondolas the first time I went to Vegas 😆

Definitely staying at Venetian or Palazzo next time I'm in Vegas. Done the party hotels and I'm at the point I want quality and comfort, and you can't beat the location on the strip!!
Lavo is wonderful. I have gone a few times at the Palazzo. Its not a traditional Italian cuisine place, but its Italian with some Asian influence. It is operated by the Tao group, so not surprised by the fusion.
hey ruby at 9:34, when you are talking about rosina, to the right of you is a wall. In the fall, probably around october or novemeber, you need to come back and check out what that is going to be. It's a new gaming room that is gonna have slots and tables and the pictures have been up since before Covid. You are gonna love it.

Have a reservation for next May Monday through Friday starting Memorial Day at the Cosmopolitan Terrace suite with fountain view for $192 a night, great value. Save lots using secondary source I don’t chase comps. Las Vegas my happy place.

I last stayed in a 1br suite at palazzo. the room was so big there wasn't enough furniture for it, and it looked mostly empty. Additionally, the furniture was old, dated, and worn out. It was disappointing. However, it's proximity to Cut was a bonus for staying there.
My husband and I were moved into a two bedroom suite after to absolutely filthy rooms that were both 2 queen beds when it was supposed to be one king. You hit the nail on the head. Not enough furniture, no thought put into the room. And, our couch looked like it was from the 1879s from the condition it was in. This was literally the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Definitely staying at Venetian or Palazzo next time I'm in Vegas. Done the party hotels and I'm at the point I want quality and comfort, and you can't beat the location on the strip!!

Lavo is wonderful. I have gone a few times at the Palazzo. Its not a traditional Italian cuisine place, but its Italian with some Asian influence. It is operated by the Tao group, so not surprised by the fusion.
hey ruby at 9:34, when you are talking about rosina, to the right of you is a wall. In the fall, probably around october or novemeber, you need to come back and check out what that is going to be. It's a new gaming room that is gonna have slots and tables and the pictures have been up since before Covid. You are gonna love it.
Staying at the Palazzo for $73 a night plus fees and taxes through a third party 4:19 Monday-Friday starting Labor Day. Our favorite hotel in Las Vegas.

I'm planning to stay a couple of nights starting labor day. Where did you get that rate? You have to be careful that the hotel will honor the reservation.
@@daveheel reservation through Trivago then Prestigia long time ago booked. Never ever had a problem using a secondary source for reservations.
Have a reservation for next May Monday through Friday starting Memorial Day at the Cosmopolitan Terrace suite with fountain view for $192 a night, great value. Save lots using secondary source I don’t chase comps. Las Vegas my happy place.
