- In light of the recent close ties between the Aatrox and Mordekaiser mains, i've made a video of their duo on the rift. As an Aatrox main myself I very much love this partnership between these two absolutely epic forces of destruction. Both having goals of carrying out a plan of world annihalation by different means even if it is for different purposes. This is another cinematic style video with lore and gameplay. Plus a nice shot with seraphine that i'm sure many will enjoy with the current hatred going around plus for insulting our Iron revenant bros. Morde's Q whit Aatrox Q, it would be the same 3 Q's but not only go extra dmg on the edge it also does extra dmg to isolated targets
Morde's W whit Aatrox W, throws the infernal chains but instead of being a pull it roots the enemy when you press W again also giving you a shield
Morde's E and Aatrox' E would put the hand of Morde and also dash at that direction if you press it twice.
Morde's R and Aatrox's R, you steal 10% stats, trap the enemy in the shadow realm, and become the World Ender. which can be reseted whit kills AND if you kill your opponent you can trap someone else as well in the shadow realm.
I mean if you use world ender aatrox maybe even asol can't win

Imagine 2 monstruous undead warriors that are monstruous, huge and they are powerful enough to kill the gods of the world you know. Also neither of them can actually die. Holy shit, now that I think of it, these 2 are actually the biggest threats to Runeterra aside from Fiddlesticks.

Nah, fighting Morde as Aatrox is not fun. Morde's all-in is stronger than Aatrox's, his poke is typically better, and Morde's E can fuck up Aatrox's Q sweetspots. It's winnable, but it's annoying.
@@nil148 Its not, in the moment Mordekaiser press R he is dead. Let me explain you why: In the moment Mordekaiser steals their stats you have the chance to increase your attack even more than mordekaiser will have. You just need to wait until mordekaiser ults you first..... and inside Mordor you will teach him what bullyng is.

Though Aatrox and Morde are not likely to meet each other(because Aatrox does not die and Morde is in afterlife), this was an interesting approach! Rather, I'm somewhat glad that I found a view where the two don't fight one another.

Both seem to have the tendency to keep coming back after death, ancient iron bound by the after life he created as the revenant that will come back after death vs a once ascended now still wielding a God killing weapon that will keep recreating his vessel whenever a host picks up the sword. Your imagination can go wild.

Despite not knowing much of Morde's achievement other than a once Runeterra conqueror and the King of the after life (And also a chad Sauron cosplayer). Aatrox is an immortal being himself that just won't die like Morde, and he himself killed gods and many of them has Asol's power and completely destroyed their soul (Then there Atreus). Two have extremely long combat experience, one has power of god and fueled by rage and one can send someone to Brazil. If his R is canon, then once Aatrox is taken to Morde death realm, he is playing by Morde's rule and at a every disadvantages. While on the mortal world, Aatrox has the upperhand and will 100% win with Morde soul being gone for good.

Two of my favorite lores in the entire game. Aatrox's lore in and of itself isn't all that interesting but combined with Darkin lore overall and context about him from other champs it's really just the best lore imo.
Mordekaiser's lore adds so much worldbuilding to LoL's lore overall and he's a basically the most metal (pun very much intended) badass Runeterra has ever seen.
i hope after the Viego story is done they push Mords further ahead because he can return the only one stopping him is la blanc and then i want to see what aatrox does in the face of death

Aatrox's soul and essence itself is trapped within the sword by powerful magic sealed by the aspect of twilight after the darkin were sealed into their weapons. I don't think anything can destroy nor bypass that prison. Mordekaiser in essence wouldn't be able to access his soul nor even destroy the sword that traps Aatrox.
@Cosmos in that case I wouldn't be sure Aatrox is trying to follow his own view of honor
@Cosmos Aatrox's main original goal in lore was to return to his ascended form referenced in his biography, this way he would be able to find a way to take his vengeance. His darken brethren have similar goals to make the world pay for what they feel is oppression against them after their psychotic world ending civil war.
"Aatrox traveled the land, searching desperately, endlessly, for a way return to his previous Ascended form… but the riddle of the blade proved unsolvable, and in time he realized he would never be free of it. The flesh he stole and crudely shaped began to feel like a mockery of his former glory-a cage only slightly larger than the sword. Despair and loathing grew in his heart. After he started to see this was a lost cause, he arrived at the solution derived from hopelessness and desperation, destroy everything and perhaps he and the blade will no longer exist. Many of his lines even reference his need to destroy everything while trying to remove his existence because he hates what he feels the world has done to him. that brings happiness, its a psychological coping mechanism sometimes people have: if I cannot have happiness, no one can.
Aatrox line: "They sing of love, hope and gods, all that makes them want to live! So, I will quiet that first!"
"From entire villages and towns, I will rend the flesh... Until I stand... as an unholy god."
"I shall not kiss the ground, nor let myself be wielded as a tool! I am damned, but I will remake this world in my dark image!"

He obviously has a very deep rooted quest here to make sure the world feels his pain before he finds a way to end himself. If he gave up his soul and was unable to achieve this new found goal he forged to end all of creation, he may not be able to find the peace he seeks even in easier death.

It's pretty much supposed to be a "traditional" accent they created somewhere in the studio to signify him as an older former ascended than an actual accent from real life according to devs but it does have a Russian sound to it

Both are very strong, no one is really sure who would win. Aatrox can kill Gods and is virtually unkillable. Mordekaiser is a God of the realm of death and will just keep coming back over and over again, with an endless army of souls
