This is a score I've wanted to see since Seth's video was uploaded. It is much more complex than I could have imagined, and I love it. Thank you for posting!
So, I’ve been thinking about this for some time. Might be a while, but definitely got it on my long term list. I’m thinking of doing an easier adaptation.
I just know it will be such a huge undertaking. I can’t even right now! 😂One of these days when I can focus on it and I’m passionate about it, I’ll hopefully make it happen. I just have other things right now. I’m actually finishing up on the sequel to Cogworks! I got a brilliant trumpet friend who’s gonna lay down the live parts. I just finished producing the electronics yesterday. Be looking out for that!
Solid stuff, thank you (and Christopher) for sharing! Although different music, this somehow gave me associations with Hans Zimmer's soundtrack to "Interstellar", in particular to "Mountains" and "Coward". I can imagine you doing well in film music...
Thanks! I have written lots of pieces for lots of different ensembles. As for a Brass Ensemble piece, not yet, however I do have something in the works for later this year!
how do you even make a trombone piece like this. its hard making my own stuff when it comes to making pieces. I seriously need advice for being creative on making trombone group pieces
Hey Seth, I can see that some people want a drum corps arrangement of this. Is it alright if I make one? It won't be for public use, unless you want it to be.
I saw Christopher Bill play it in his channel and when I saw this in my recommended feed, I was like I need this in my life.
I want to see this arranged for drum corps. Geez dude, this is EPIC!
Yes please that would be so amazing
I can try, I’ll get something out, I’ll notify you all when it’s done
I have part of it done, it’s concert band though
Honestly, heck yeah. Could totally see this included in marching. And I must say, god damn you know how to write. That score is absolutely beautiful.
There's a really good arranged show that features it called Descent into Madness by NoCommonSense

I'm so happy that you enjoyed watching the score!
That was best trombone arrangement I have ever heard amazing job
This is a literal drum corps show
I get goosebumps every time!
I'm really glad you enjoy the piece!
this video loops perfectly
1:41 and 3:05 beautiful
I would love to see this on a dci competition field!
Me too! One can dream :)
The Anarchy leitmotif you snuck in there is a really nice touch!
I appreciate it! I think of Cogworks as the “Sequel” to Anarchy, so I think it works quite well. 😊
I love the use of music theory and creativity, so beautiful!
this is badass man! great job!
This might be a bit greedy, but I would love a full band arrangement of this. I know my high school would love to play this,

An awesome composition!
Measure 105 through the hit is eargasmic
Wow! Wish I was skilled enough to play this, amazing composition
Nice piece! I like this song.
2:02 sounds like the transition between phase 1 and 2 of a boss fight where the boss splits into 4 parts
Excellent! :)
Really cool.
Saw Cristopher Bill play on his channel then came here.
Why is no one talking about how beautiful that section at 3:30 is. Measure 127 if anyone's interested

wow. this is amazing. it sounds like something Manheim Steamroller would play
A trombone piece requiring the arm speed of a thousand scars
Baritones: Am I a joke to you?
cylindrical instruments more than 20 ft away: yes
Incredible piece, how long did it take you to make it
mind if i make a tuba cover of this(i love this so much)
great arrangement. one question tho, why isnt the first part in tenor clef? I feel it would be more suited for that
You’re right, but I hate tenor clef 😅
Is it cool if me and my friends play this piece in a chamber ensemble competition at my school
I love this man! Keep up the good work! Have you written any peices for more than trombone? Have you written and brass ensamble peices?
Thanks! I have written lots of pieces for lots of different ensembles. As for a Brass Ensemble piece, not yet, however I do have something in the works for later this year!
@@sethebrownmusic Alright! Thank you!
I guess you can say you have something “in the cogworks”
@@madisonbandman6570 I love this comment!

Hi Seth, would you mind if I tried my hand at arranging this for a DCI hornline? Not a real one, just a MuseScore.
Hey Seth, I can see that some people want a drum corps arrangement of this. Is it alright if I make one? It won't be for public use, unless you want it to be.
This could be a low brass ensemble piece. Tubas double bass trombones. Euphoniums double trombone parts.
I tried to sight read it. Let’s just say I’m not as sophisticated as I thought I was going in.
First time seeing this arrangement. Was very cool. 🎉🎉❤
an we get a Bb clairinet solo for this or one that stars a Bb clairinet in a similar style.
🤔 I may have to look into this. Great idea!
How much is the music? I think I want to purchase
Just visit my contact page on my website and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
