That is the General Midi soundfont that is to blame. If you want to use something ($$$) that sounds better you absolutely can tell MuseScore to use your VST plug-in instead of the default.
Too bad musescore doesn't use dynamics, and Gliss's don't work very well either. There's a lot of things wrong with musescore, but it's all we have I guess,
It's because this breaks copyright law. Posting this on MuseScore just straight up loses Steven Verhelst money because this is an exact replica of the original score with no transformation whatsoever. I'm surprised the TH-cam video is still up

MuseScore absolutely can use dynamics. Don't ask me how. But it does use them if you know how to tell it to interpret the markings.
I LOVE Musescore 3 (it's overly complicated to do basic tasks)
