I have these 15" Reds in aller cabinets and listeners can't believe what hones out of one driver. So perfect. And for those who say they are not accurate or neutral enough keep in mind they are what Nelson Pass uses at home and during home and testing for his amps.

Wow. I've been comparing speakers from the Sound Somm's list and these are awesome! Probably equal to the La Scala's from a "live" or "presence" perspective. Maybe a bit more accurate?

how does the tannoy sound with some old skool rock ? like 'Lazy' from deep purple , or "Child in time' ?
I had the tannoy SRM 1000 (15 inch) but for rock they did not sound good .

Man it must be awesome to get to play around with such insane equipment, but I can not imagine having to move two fridges for speakers when you decide to listen to another set of behemoth speakers lol. Work out forsure.

熊本市の鶴屋デパートのオーディオルームにこのタンノイ・ウェストミンスターが置かれています、ただし会員者のみ視聴出来ます、そこを無理やり頼み込んで聴きました。音が素晴らしいんですが、ボリュームを最大限に上げると、箱鳴りがしてイーグルスのホテル·カルフォルニアのボーカルが団子状になり、良く聴き取れませんでした。
能率が99dBあって、低域も伸びているので、ボリュ－ムを上げなくても十分な大音量になり、そんな使い方は違うと思う。
I just wish you'd have used some Kondo or Audio Note amps the AR amps sound really uncouth, amps from the hood!!!

Maybe its the room but they have a shitton of low-end bass. Not a bad thing as its not boomy and it sounds quite pleasing with this genre of music. Not voiced neutrally for sure, but given their target audience (and their 50,000 USD price tag!) its probably appropriate.
Those two clock numbers are confusing the hell out of me.
