When Nicodemus left the money and cried behind the wall literally broke my heart and I sobbed. I knew that feeling, that sadness and regret. Awesome production.

Ohh this scene speaks to me also! I can feel his anguish and cry WITH him!!💔 There Is Such A Pure Sence Of What He Is Giving Up by not going with Christ.

When the story of Yeshua is finish, please make an extra few episodes of the lives of the 12 disciples and how they died.. The Chosen is the only movies that ever made them alive. I think they played such an important role in our faith and I never took note of them, until now. They went through so much torture because they witnessed it all and that alone prove that Yeshua indeed rose from the dead.. The Chosen is amazing...

As a pastor here in Australia, I want to say thank you to Dallas and The Chosen team. As someone who loves "the old, old story" and has been communicating it for almost 30 years now, I am so thankful for the fresh way you are sharing it. I find myself regularly in tears as I watch the words of the Gospels played out before my eyes. In particular, the wedding at Cana episode, and also Jesus' roof-top conversation with Nicodemus have impacted me very deeply. You can say it again!!! One of the things that stuck with me the most is when Jesus said " You were so close". I keep praying that I'm able and willing to give myself entirely to Him. I'm maybe 80% there but there's these 20% for some reason I do not wanna let go of, even though I KNOW intellectually that by giving myself entirely I'm not losing anything but GAINING EVERYTHING. It's such a real internal battle.

@NM Hedge Thanks for the suggestion but I doubt it will help my particular case. I watched about 30 minutes of the short TH-cam version and I don't recognize myself in the people described. I don't follow Prosperity Gospel motivational speakers. They've never appealed to me. I'm working on my journey with the Lord day by day and He is transforming me slowly. To be honest I stopped watching the documentary when they started to say falsehoods about the Catholic church. Although I'm not Catholic, I know their doctrine because both my parents are Catholics. Catholics don't believe that you have to work to gain salvation. It's never been preached. Jesus paid the price and they know they'll never be good enough to earn salvation. But works is important because God loves people who are obedient to His commands, even though we all know we will never be without sin since we are tainted by original sin. We can only try our best to follow His commands and strive to be perfect as "our heavenly father is perfect". We're all called to be Saints. That's the doctrine taught by the Catholic church. Conversion is a life long journey. There are many things that bother me in the Catholic church but their doctrine on salvation is not one.

One of the things I love about this show is that it helps me put the chronology in order. I grew up with the stories, but I was always unclear about what happened when. It's nice to see how one story flows into the next one.
Actually, the show doesn't strictly follow the timeline (see disclaimer before episode 1). But i also feel that many event start to make much more sence as they are somehow linked together.
Thank you for inviting us into set, and letting us see what you do on a filming day, looks really cool, we see the beautiful and touching result of a day full of diligence for the Lord’s glory. BTW I also chew pens 😂

Episodes 1-4 are financed. They are looking into different locations for filming them. Also, there are issues regarding covid that need to be clarified. But they hope to release at least some new episodes towards the end of this year.

As a third-year college student studying Creative Media, I appreciate this SO much!!! I love watching all of The Chosen's behind-the-scenes videos because they get me ready for what to expect when I'm in the field. I'm more of a writer, but just seeing the teamwork that goes into these projects is so mind-blowing! It reminds me of God's bigger picture-- how each and every one of us play a role. Some roles are as big as a lead producer, or as "small" as the person who sprays mist on actors to add some "sweat" detail. No matter the size, each and every one of us has a special role in God's big picture. It all comes together to create this beautiful symphony! 😍 If it's God's will for me in my career, I would love to work with this crew one day! But I know that wherever He leads me, I will have my role there :) God bless you Dallas!!! Keeping this project in my prayers always🙏🙏

Taking the Bible, God’s word, and making a visual translation of it is a big responsibility, and the cast of this series has done such an incredible job at it. Visually seeing it, and I kept going to the Bible to see how authentic they kept the Word, had me in tears. When u see a movie/show about Jesus life and they changed things to please others, you see it on the film. But with the Chosen, I felt connected to it and learned even more. I felt every miracle, every laugh, every parable and every tear. I can’t wait to season 2 and I’ll do my job to spread the word so that others can support a worthy cause. God Bless.

I'm 70 - and I'm hooked! Been a wholly devoted follower of Jesus since age 30, and this series has put a completely fresh perspective on what I'm reading in the gospels. Jesus' humanity in The Chosen helps me understand why so many people didn't "get" Him when He was here. I used to think they were just dense, but - I think our upbringing has made us view Him as more ethereal than human during His time on earth. Thank you, Dallas, for putting flesh and bone on Jesus and His followers!

From the moment I watched the first episode of The Chosen, I watched what I've read many times in the Bible come to life in a way that is almost unexplainable. It was like I was there watching events take place-it became so real. I saw the actors portraying real people, and the emotions they all convey while in their characters is remarkable.
It is so exciting to talk to other people about The Chosen, and to hear what they have to say after watching it-uplifting doesn't do justice to what this series does for my soul. I am BEYOND excited for the series to continue! Bless you all!!

I’ve seen many Jesus movies which I’ve enjoyed some of them. However, when The Chosen popped up on my TH-cam I knew it was not by accident. I knew the Lord was answering my prayers as I was struggling in my relationship with the Lord. I knew the Lord was speaking to me when the episode one has the key verse of Isaiah 43.. . That is the exact passage I opened to when I opened my Bible for the first time. The scene when Jesus heals Mary and is saying the words melted my heart. I couldn’t stop crying. The scene was Jesus and I when I first became a believer. The more I watched this series the more I realized, this is the Jesus I’ve been in love with all these years. This is the Jesus ive been telling others about. The loving, funny, sweet, unselfish, perfect in all his ways, Jesus. Thank for your obedience to make this series. God bless you!

This is the first time the true significance of the first Passover will become clear. When the families took the little lamb into their homes. They cared for it and fell in love with it. Then came the depth and probably horror of the need to sacrifice it for their survival. We will all feel this very personally as this story unwinds as we may have never realized it before.
