IN case someone doesn't know this, once you find a mining helmet you can recharge it on the recharging station. It recharges quickly. You can also recharge the metal detector, so don't throw it away when it's spent.

You run the mines like a Boss haha.... here I am bringing like 50 torches n slowly progressing bit by bit killing everything then stopping to eat all the time. Nice video!..... I'm only like 50 hours into this game and loving it, glad I'm a Aussie as it feels like I'm playing in my backyard haha.
Honestly it took some practice, but with some practice you could easily do this! I also agree, as an Aussie, this game is amazing!
You can pick up the treasure room chests as well, and they stack!
Can you place them in the elevator so you have extra storage beyond just your pockets and tool bar?
@@targetdreamer257 I think it might not be possible, since it's an item that requires a specific spot to place it on, but didn't test it yet.
Somehow I obtained a candle hat when I began to play so I use it every time I go to the mines, this way you always see what surrounds you even when you’re carrying a ruby and the light doesn’t go off after a while unlike the helmet
6:50 is wild, I had no idea the mine bush devils and crocos can fight each other 😂

Don’t forget you can bring your bike down to the mine and set the ruby on the back no need to head back to the elevator the stack on the back make sure to break your bike before heading back up tho

How do you find rubies on level 1? Cause we can’t enter the deep mine without them :/ and we’ve been trying to figure out how to get them.
They're very random and you can find ruby nodes in the treasure rooms sometimes
take all chests you find, they stack and they worth quite abit

In chat you said there was a red glow you could see as you approached a ruby
That's true - the rubies give off a small red glow for the single riby sticking out. It doesn't sparkle like ore does, but you can tell that it's red from a distance

idk if im doing something wrong but ive gone into the mines twice and have never found a ruby, do they only spawn later in the game or something? im like 23 hours in so i thought it would be fine.
Some days it is hard to find them. I would suggest trying again but staying out as long as you can. I once had none show up until around 2pm!
@@Fuzzireno not me staying until midnight both times and still finding nothing LMAO ty tho! ill definitely try again soon hopefully with more luck lol
