LOVE YOUR ART AND I BOUGHT SOME OIL PASTELS AFTER WATCHING YOUR CHANNEL TO TRY. I HAVE 2 BOXES OF FRAMES I BOUGHT OVER SEVERAL YEARS FOR MY ART. BEFORE COVID THRIFT STORES USE TO HAVE HALF OFF DAY. I WOULD GET FRAMES SO GLAD I DID NOW. I REALLY ENJOY WATCHING YOU DO YOUR PORTRAITS IN OIL PASTELS. YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!! SORRY FOR CAPS , I NEED THEM FOR MY VISION.
That's so sweet! I'm so glad you loved my oil pastel art. I hope you love making art with oil pastels as well🥰 I love thrifting art frames too, every time I find a frame that matches with my art, I almost think that it was meant to be✨ Thank you for taking the time to comment here, your comment made my day💓
Hi Misako, the oil pastel will never dry, right? I have a box of Mungyo oil pastel but I have not used it seriously because I don't know how to store the painting after I finish. I wish I have a big room to be my studio so I can use pastel. Great art by the way.
I use Sennelier fixative to prevent getting dust or smudges! I made a tiktok about how I store my drawing. I'll put the link here! vm.tiktok.com/ZMLXx9o4q/ or you can watch me using Sennelier fixative in my newest TH-cam video(Van Gogh one)! it's around 31:07 ~31:21
This was super helpful!! Turned out so good. I'm currently looking into different framing/mounting options. Did you use spacers when you framed the painting of the two women?
Hi:) I use generic mixed media paper for thick layer drawing like the two women portrait one in this video, and for light-textured drawings, I use Strathmore Pastel paper. Strathmore paper is light textured and good for detailed drawings. You can also use this one for thick drawings too😊
Amazing and beautiful in no words! ✨😍
So beautiful❤
Love this video and your art is amazing! 😍

@@MisakoFlodin thank you so much!! ❤️
Anytime!🥰
How do you know the size of the mount with your art? Do i have to calculate the size of art piece and mount frame?
