@TechSpurt not tempted at all and ive had pretty much every S device since the S3, samsung really fumbled the ball this year. On another note yes there lots of other videos, but no one does it quite like uncle spurt!
@@kewlztertc5386 But it won't charge the old sPen in the silo, and the whole point is we wouldn't be carrying anything extra. It was dumb for them to get rid of such a cool utility.
I will stay with my s24 ultra. Looking forward for s26 ultra, if they put better cameras. Also, i prefer the design of s24 ultra, with the sharp corners.
Nah. By then you gonna be looking at the one plus 15. It’s already got better specs than any other manufacturer out there. And they gonna continue to lead.
Thanks Mr Spurty! Love the usage of "power twat" looks great but also not enough of a change to even consider moving from the S24 Ultra....which is actually a good thing!
i really love the pointy corners of the s24u , the s25u design for me is boring or too common ... anyway its just my perspective ❤.. love your channel shinanigans
@@phothewin6019 Not talking software here, as everyone copies everyone, but the hardware, who TF else is putting 100-200w charging in a phone? And 6000mah+ in the same space effectively? Not to mention Xiaomi literally has the best camera on a phone with the ultra (spec-wise). Also unfortunately ppl went back from this sensor but there was the 3D sonic fingerprint sensor that was killer, I have it on my older Vivo.
I remember when every new Galaxy S and Note series release were a phenomenon even though I couldn't really afford em🎉, Sammy's really gotta find that magic again, I truly am vouching for them to find that phenomenal period again.
I had the S25 Ultra 512GB in the basket for just £420 with trade in, email discount, etc., but it's just not enough of a change from my S24 Ultra. I think I'll wait for the OnePlus Open 2 instead.
There was a price hike here in Canada, about $160 for the 1tb version. Coupled with the new iphone like look (which is shite) no Bluetooth Spen and the same recycled parts from the last 5 yrs or so made it really easy to pass this year (for the first time in more than 10 years).
What an absolute bullshit from Samsung downgrading the s-pen. They cannot claim it's cost cutting because cost cutting means u can reuse old hardware just like how the S25 display tech are all the same as S24 series. Only reason i'm considering upgrading is because my Note20 Ultra screen was damaged a month ago.
Market research only minority use the Bluetooth so they nerfed it, no battery, lighter. Phone is nearly 10% lighter.....40% more efficient Snapdragon= more battery life. Better macro lens. Better AI. Upscaler on screen. It's an amazing phone for anyone upgrading from an older Samsung. Big bang upgrades are only every 5+ years now with all manufacturers
@@kmstreetstar I got my S24U during black friday. Was thinking about maybe would switch to S25U but when the specs were leaked, I decides that maybe after 4 years I'll upgrade again.
Nahhh I'm genuinely gutted that they changed the design and rounded out the sharp corners. That was such an iconic look. I've always wanted to have that unabashedly sharp and large look of the Note devices and I was so glad that they kept that design along with the S pen even after discontinuing the Note series but it was simply never in my budget. Now that I'm an earning adult and I could've afforded it for my next phone upgrade, they get rid of it ffs. And beyond my feelings about it, I genuinely think it's such a downgrade looks wise. Now, it looks like a budget phone from the last decade.
Same warmed over S22 ultra. Same charging, battery, cameras, display, no BT S-pin and so on. No IP 69 rating. What a joke for a phone that 300 bucks more than phones a lot better. No thanks, my friend.
I'm very sad that the rumors about the sPen downgrade were true. Having that shutter was worth it for so many occasions. Shame they got rid of it. Really like those smooth corners though, but I think I'd prefer the slightly rounded edges of the s24 Ultra along with round corners. That would be great!
The video the s25u produces is so smooth when u switch zoom length, the upgraded 50mp ultra wide camera is awsome, I'm very happy with the stabilization at 10x zoom at 4k 60, the battery upgrade doesn't bother me too much, they claim that it's much more efficient so that's a fair reason for no upgrade.
So many giving hate to the S25 ultra. Last year everyone was hating on the s24 ultra but as you can see in a threads most people are in love with it and plan on keeping it. Personally I like the refinements and I use my Galaxy watch ultra for my shutter button so I never use the Bluetooth in the pen so not a deal breaker for me look forward to the pre-order coming in.
This is the first Galaxy ultra I'd consider buying as I didn't like those sharp pointy corners of the 24 ultra, however I'm more than satisfied with my Sony Xperia 1 mk VI 👌
The only reason I switched from my S23 Ultra to S24 Ultra is, well there was a profitable campaign so I ended up paying a bit less than half of the release price, and second but mostly wsa the snapdragon chip in S23 Ultra vs the exynos trash in S22 Ultra which depleted the battery faster than I eject. It's not worth upgrading our techs frequently. Maybe once in 4-5 years. Maybe 3 if the difference is huge.
Looks like I'm buying A One Plus 13. I was waiting for the s25 Ultra release before buying A new phone and I was underwhelmed. My priorities are battery life, charging speed and speed. One plus 13 ticks all the boxes but I do wish the camera was better.
@TechSpurt any chance you noticed if the new S25 Ultra Titanium Grey is the same as the old one. I found the old ones a bit too 'gold' for my liking. Wondering if this version is less gold. Would appreciate it. Thanks!
