i am 30 years old and on my wall where i mounted 5 racquets that i broke as a teenager. i feel ashamed every time i look at them because it is about $1000 worth or racquets that my parents bought for me. it motivates me to take a breath in a difficult moment, not be a brat and anaylyze first before i react
I agree for 99.99% of all tennis players. I think the only guy who wins and seemingly achieves nirvana after smashing racquets is Djokovic. But he's an anomaly haha. P.S. - not a Djokovic fan, although I respect his tennis immensely.
I'll be glad when they fine ppl a game instead of points. No room for a lack of self control IMO. Channel the anger thru better play or take ya L like a man. Yelling (no profanity) is cool but thats it...
I wish that all these racquets were donated to the charity - there are many people who live in a poor condition that they could not afford a good racquet. *Sigh*
I'm convinced that tennis players are some of the most immature athletes in the world. As an adult, you need to learn how to manage your emotions before they become overwhelming. Perhaps these players can learn a thing or two from someone like Nadal, Kvitova, or Venus Williams.

The results show you shouldnt let your anger get the better of you, theres no benefit to breaking the racket than a temporary relief
