I think the towels provided by the tournament for player use on court were BOSS branded towels that weren't white. He was insinuating that he shouldn't be forced to use every BOSS brand during play. Now whether that actually has any bearing on how much BOSS towels absorb sweat for him is another issue. He seemed to be complaining just to complain at that point.
Or he may have just wanted to refuse to be manipulated into marketing their brand for free. Clothing manufacturers usually don’t emboss (no pun intended) the towels at pro tournaments.

He might’ve still lost had the calls all been correct, but he would’ve broken serve and wouldn’t have lost at that point had the umpire made the correct decision.
So it's my feeling that an integral part of tennis is (for the players) dealing with line calls and the subjective interpretation of those calls and (for the viewers) having something else to watch, react to, talk about, and derive all sorts of emotion. I am kind of bummed that soon we'll have "objective"* technology that'll make tennis matches so much more mundane. *technology can still be wrong, if there's an issue with the programming. Any British viewers out here? Remember the post office scandal? That was due to bad technology.
He is sponsored by NIKE, and towels have BOSS on them . He doesn’t want to violate his contract. Also, someone said in the comments they are softer and more absorbent.
You-Know-Who requested the standard, plain, white, hotel towels at Paris & Turin. They're better, even thickness, & more absorbent. The branded towels are thinner, less absorbent, & haven't been pre-washed to reduce lint/fluff. There's a reason why you don't see many players use them.
That judgement call on Shelton's hit is plain awful. It was a CLEAR, plain as day multiple hit. Least of all, HE knew. Forget about the ump being completely wrong. The players knows fully well, they feel how the hit a ball. Shelton was disgraceful for not admitting he did hit it multiple times and should've conceded the point.
It wasn't a double hit. The umpire was correct. Rewatch the video. 1:23 Shelton only hit the ball ONCE. The second, reflexive twitch of Shelton's racket doesn't matter because the ball had already left his racket after the first hit & crossed the net.
Bublik was quite correct on his second line call. It was called out, then on the challenge it was in, so he gets the point. But didn't, Sinner should have gave him the point in sportsmanship.
We’ve all done bad things (lying, stealing, cheating, etc) meaning that we are all imperfect (we are all sinners) Every bad deed and bad person must be punished (think of criminals and jail) And we all deserve to be punished too (death and hell) But Jesus died on the cross so we can escape punishment If we forsake our bad deeds and follow Jesus, we can have eternal life, but also a more fulfilled life right now. If you are dealing with any pain whatsoever, offer it to Jesus and He'll heal you!

@@IbraVibraPippoyou must have missed his title run at Halle. I cannot stand the guy’s voice, face, teeth, hair, clothing, overall presence, etc. but his talent cannot be denied.
That's just confirmation bias. The reason he isn't top 10 is simply that there's at least 10 players who are better than him. Talent is relative.
Bublik doesn't want to the umpire to talk to him anyway he wants, but he thinks that he can talk to the umpire any way he wants?🤡
It's also funny that he thinks that he lost the first set due to bad calls and not because he was more focused on arguing instead of actually winning the match.
He might’ve still lost had the calls all been correct, but he would’ve broken serve and wouldn’t have lost at that point had the umpire made the correct decision.
I'm in the same mood as bublik all day every day
nick is completely right. he's bringing in millions of viewers and they can't bring a fucking towel?
When a natural surface has bad bounces 🤯 adapt to it, be an athlete!
Those 's-Hertogenbosch line umpires were the worst I have seen in a hot minute.
So do some chair umpires work as supervisors on some tournaments? because AbdelAzim was recently working at highchair now he is supervisor (promoted?)
Bublik-Sinner: and you know who he will become a great tennis player.
Tennis advocate best
🙏💚
A tip for pro tennis players from a tennis fan, don't ask for supervisor.. Never ever
Holy s*it I thought Bublik was mumbilng for one set and move on. Instead he goes on, call the supervisor, and still complaining until the match ends 😂
Bubliks complaining has a soporific effect on me. I literally dozed off while he was talking and talking and.... 😴
utter boring 😂
I thought JJ knew the rules better than that. One motion bud
Bublik deserved something, you can't complain forever, people don't have to deal with it. Mistakes happen, nothing's perfect.
line umps were bad, but bublik was sooo annoying and bratty, people make mistakes howre you gonna act dumbfounded by unsportsmanlike call after that
Bublik owning those awful refs accountable
So it's my feeling that an integral part of tennis is (for the players) dealing with line calls and the subjective interpretation of those calls and (for the viewers) having something else to watch, react to, talk about, and derive all sorts of emotion. I am kind of bummed that soon we'll have "objective"* technology that'll make tennis matches so much more mundane.
*technology can still be wrong, if there's an issue with the programming. Any British viewers out here? Remember the post office scandal? That was due to bad technology.
Anderson calling best effort on Lestienne was unnecessary.
holy moly the bublik-sinner match my god
Haigh is one of the worst umpires out there on the tour
I didnt get the white towels thing...why? what is the problem with the other towels?
Shelton was disgraceful for not admitting he did hit it multiple times and should've conceded the point.
its allowed to double hit, so nothing wrong
@@wait9907 You know nothing about tennis rules.
It wasn't a double hit. The umpire was correct. Rewatch the video. 1:23 Shelton only hit the ball ONCE. The second, reflexive twitch of Shelton's racket doesn't matter because the ball had already left his racket after the first hit & crossed the net.
It doesn't do them any good to argue with the umpire, it makes for a completely wrong mindset.
I agree with moutet those courts suck😂
No. It's terrible that there will be no more line umpires. The drama is great.
Bublik was quite correct on his second line call. It was called out, then on the challenge it was in, so he gets the point. But didn't, Sinner should have gave him the point in sportsmanship.
Ngl I could listen to Bublik yap about nothing for hours. I really like his accent
Line umpires are trash and supervisors server absolutely no purpose lol
Oh how we missed the snivelling manchild Kyrgios this season lol.
He is so annoying but also undeniably entertaining lol
just one white towel
We’ve all done bad things (lying, stealing, cheating, etc) meaning that we are all imperfect (we are all sinners) Every bad deed and bad person must be punished (think of criminals and jail) And we all deserve to be punished too (death and hell) But Jesus died on the cross so we can escape punishment
If we forsake our bad deeds and follow Jesus, we can have eternal life, but also a more fulfilled life right now.
If you are dealing with any pain whatsoever, offer it to Jesus and He'll heal you!
I believe that player can not argument with empire in any way. So what is the right of players if they disagree with empire?
If I could have one friend from tour it would be Bublik. I would piss him off deliberately and listen.
If there's a video and there's no Moutet is because he is not playing.
Bublik is tiresome, even when he has reasons to complain
I can't wait for the day I finally make the tour, step out onto court, smell the fresh cut grass, breathe in the fresh air, feeling more accomplished than I ever have been & just so thankful to be there.
Then, in true traditional fashion... get shitty about a line call, abuse the umpire & then say what every player dreams of being able to say from the first day they pick up a racket.
"CALL THE SUPERVISOR!"
There’s your problem right there. Losers are always happy “just to be there”.
@@AinSoph73 wow you re such a sigma grindset badass bruhh 100%
