I often experienced excessive sweating after applying skincare in the summer, and my skincare seemed to melt in the harsh sun. Since for the last 4 months, I've started using rice berry sunscreen by littlleeextra, and I no longer face that sweating issue with this sunscreen. My face also doesn't appear dark after applying it. In fact, I’ve also begun using rice berry face moisturizer and face serum underneath this sunscreen, and I’ve found that my face stays well-hydrated. I’ve noticed a reduction in pigmentation with regular use of these products.

I've never used it over makuep since I don't ware it but I would say it'd work great since it almost has a primer feel to it, and the White cast would definitely be covered up afterwards.

    - applying a quarter teaspoon is enough to cover the whole face 'liberally'? really?
    - don't forget eyelids....yeah if you want your eyes to sting, and for the stuff to coat your contact lenses indelibly and continue to sting even after you've cleaned them
    - but my biggest frustration is being told to apply sunscreen all the way to the hairline, because NO SUNSCREEN MANUFACTURER ever tells you truthfully that the active ingredients in sunscreen are proven to cause hair loss. women start balding and getting receding and thinning hairlines....and then stop using sunscreen and their hair grows back. of course, skin cancer is arguably worse than being bald, but the point is better sunscreens need to be developed and manufacturers need to be honest

One coat and re-application every two hour is the key of sunscreen if throughout the day you're being exposed to sunlight or diffused sun light. Re-application after sweating or swimming.
But If like on the way to work in the morning you're only being exposed to sunlight for short period of time and then you're staying totally indoors, even without diffused sunlight through glass window or open window, and also you aren't sweating, in this case once application MAY work.
This is my personal view and I'm not any dermatologist.

I’d think about applying two coats only if you think you didn’t apply enough with the initial application. For example, with really runny sunscreens I apply two layers because it’s difficult to apply a full 1/4 tsp in one go.

Why the three fingers method doesn't work? Simply because each sunscreen has a unique consistency, (Fluid, Gel, Gel-cream, Lotion, Cream) so a line on the finger of a fluid sunscreen doesn't mesure the same to a line of a cream sunscreen. Why am I saying this? Because a lot of people on the internet are using the three fingers method on all types sunscreens regardless of the its consistency.
My advice would simply be to apply sunscreen normally until you feel like you're putting enough (it won't feel nice) or you can use a measuring spoon if you have the time.
