More like 1.5 days and that's mostly on the user itself. IPhones gets thier great battery life from standby and not from actually use. So, if she uses the phone a lot the battery will be just one day, if she gets a lot of standby time them 1. 5 days and of careful with it then 2 days.
samsung s10e is cheaper, newer, better water resistent, higher megapixel camera, higher resolution, charges faster, is more lightweighted.. and you get a fortnite skin ;)

For HDR, like specular highlights, this is very useful. The Average Picture Level Brightness, which a lot of TH-camrs confuse as peak brightness, is much lower, at between 394 nits to 530 nits.
The S10 is rated as one of the brightest displays under all conditions. But yes peak brightness is available in auto mode only. But regardless, the OLED panel has better viewing angles and is easier to see then the LCD competition in full sun, when high brightness is needed. Indoors any display will be plenty adequate.

The S10e has actually gone down in price lately. On Amazon UK, it's £575. A few other places I looked at it's £525.99. It's actually a good proposition now.
Definitely get way more features with the S10e. Biggest drawback is lack of software updates. If Samsung pumped out a new software version each year for even just a few years after the release of the phone, I wouldn’t even think twice about getting the S10e. But because of lack of software support, it’s a tough decision.

Otherwise, a superb analysis of the differences between these two phones. Your knowledge of these forms of technology is amazing and always put across enthusiastically and succinctly.

Great video in comparing the two. I have been an apple fan from iPhone 3 and to this day hesitate to go to an android system due to the efficacy of the system compared to Apples IOS. SO as you said, it would be nice to do a head to head comparison of the newest system and the new upgrade in Samsung that supports the Android IOS. My biggest fear is the potential security issues with the Android system vs. Apple IOS.
I got the S10E a year ago have had zero problems but now the size bothers me I'm an artist and miss having a bigger phone sometimes but I hated the curved screen on the S10 and S10 plus so it's give or take I guess.

Even with the cheapest S10e, you get the whole ecosystem in 1 device, if you connect it to a TV and is an AndroidTV, then you connect a mouse and keyboard to that setup and you get a desktop computer, when you use it alone it is a phone, and it has a headphone jack so you could even use it as a boombox with any OLD non bluetooth music system, all included in the box with fast charger and all.... not as "courageous" as other brands, but very clever. LOL
The thing is... It's not hard to leave the ecosystem, it's just annoying. You feel like a sports coach that trades in a very well playing, perfectly balanced team of players in order to get a new team that just can't play as well. A new team with a lot of individual talent, but mediocre team play. Stuff is more annoying, stuff doesn't sync or flow as good and there are way more misunderstandings and complications between the players. That's how it feels to go from Apples garden to anything else.

Did you take a look at the chin? The xr has a smaller chin despite using a LCD. And don’t say you don’t look at the Chin, with your Great nav bar on Android you are forced to look down there all the time

The Xr can compete in speed, camera and battery life but the screen to body ratio is lower than similarly priced phones and it has a giant notch. It also has an 820p LCD while most phones at its price have at least a 1080p OLED. It also doesn’t have any major features or selling points besides iOS. The Xs still has a giant notch but it has a higher screen to body ratio to compete with similarly priced phones and a 1152p OLED. It also has 3D Touch which is a selling point that other phones don’t have.

Yes, you can remap the Bixby to Google Assistant. Search how to do the steps. I did see more than one youtube video on it and i actually downloaded it but forgot all the steps of it..... Search on TH-cam: Remap Bixby button. Multiple videos will come up. :)

If you can turn off individual pixels with an OLED panel why didn't Samsung bring the screen closer to the camera sensor and only turn off the pixels around the camera sensor when the camera is being used to prevent the light being picked up by the camera... instead of the having the black rim around constantly?

I´ve chosen the S10e because here in Germany both phones start at 749 €. As you said, you get a lot more fancy tech for your money and I do prefer the design of the S10e as well.
To be honest.. I’ll never buy iPhones again.. not saying that android phones are better or being an android user but that’s the facts..

I prefer Apple more, I have the Note 9 and its speaker and its earphone are broken already, I used the 5s for almost 5 years, I have no problem with it, but with Note 9 for 5 months, the device is half broken now.

Samsung S10E was sold here in Malaysia for RM2260 on pre-order. That was roughly 552 USD. Samsung prices in Asia are pretty ridiculous.

Yep. I’ve been an android user for 10 years but I just got an iPhone XR instead of a Samsung Because of user experience and software fluidity and cohesiveness. I don’t wish that I got a Samsung or a Pixel, but I’ll probably get the next Pixel. It’s all good and it’s all preference
In the end the s10e is better than the Xr only for the OLED display, the ultra wide lens, the reverse wireless charging and the 960 fps slow motion, but the Xr is better for Face ID, the bigger display, the colours of the camera, the haptic feedback and for iOS...

Great video in comparing the two. I have been an apple fan from iPhone 3 and to this day hesitate to go to an android system due to the efficacy of the system compared to Apples IOS. SO as you said, it would be nice to do a head to head comparison of the newest system and the new upgrade in Samsung that supports the Android IOS. My biggest fear is the potential security issues with the Android system vs. Apple IOS.
I got the S10E a year ago have had zero problems but now the size bothers me I'm an artist and miss having a bigger phone sometimes but I hated the curved screen on the S10 and S10 plus so it's give or take I guess.
I will choose XR and I will get it today, haha! I am Korean and I know what the Samsung is. I hate Samsung and I hate amoled, so I would choose XR not Samsung without Amoled.

Even with the cheapest S10e, you get the whole ecosystem in 1 device, if you connect it to a TV and is an AndroidTV, then you connect a mouse and keyboard to that setup and you get a desktop computer, when you use it alone it is a phone, and it has a headphone jack so you could even use it as a boombox with any OLD non bluetooth music system, all included in the box with fast charger and all.... not as "courageous" as other brands, but very clever. LOL

The thing is... It's not hard to leave the ecosystem, it's just annoying. You feel like a sports coach that trades in a very well playing, perfectly balanced team of players in order to get a new team that just can't play as well. A new team with a lot of individual talent, but mediocre team play. Stuff is more annoying, stuff doesn't sync or flow as good and there are way more misunderstandings and complications between the players. That's how it feels to go from Apples garden to anything else.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e. You can take pictures in the dark almost and comes out super clear as if it was light outside.

Apple gives software updates to slow down its older models.

That's not actually true. When my phone had iOS 11, it was ok. Normal performance. But when I got the iOS 12 update, my phone became blazing fast. If you used iPhones for more than 8 years, it's a different story bro. Don't believe the hate online.

the Samsung Galaxy S10e (US| UK | MY) is capable of recording 4K videos from both front and back cameras. Samsung removed the 10 minute time limit for 4K recording, but there is still the 4 GB file size limit.

The bezels and notch of the 10R look hideous when compared to the smaller bezels and no notch of the S10E.
Did you take a look at the chin? The xr has a smaller chin despite using a LCD. And don’t say you don’t look at the Chin, with your Great nav bar on Android you are forced to look down there all the time
@@lukefadedaway great android nav bar? theres gestures, and even the nav bar you just know where the buttons are so you use them subconsciously without having to look in case the extra millimeters bother you this much.

XR is extremely fast and software is amazing. even if phones have better specs it cant compare to the user experience of iphones
The Xr can compete in speed, camera and battery life but the screen to body ratio is lower than similarly priced phones and it has a giant notch. It also has an 820p LCD while most phones at its price have at least a 1080p OLED. It also doesn’t have any major features or selling points besides iOS. The Xs still has a giant notch but it has a higher screen to body ratio to compete with similarly priced phones and a 1152p OLED. It also has 3D Touch which is a selling point that other phones don’t have.
@@laurapepin i think screen to body ratio doesn't matter above a certain percentage. also the notch is a better implementation than the cutout in my opinion because it's more symmetrical, and in the s10 if you use chrome landscape you get a huge blacked out bar

Yes, you can remap the Bixby to Google Assistant. Search how to do the steps. I did see more than one youtube video on it and i actually downloaded it but forgot all the steps of it.....

i don't agree on Cameras, it might that the 10e got better specs but when it comes to actual quality, the Xr is way far

If you can turn off individual pixels with an OLED panel why didn't Samsung bring the screen closer to the camera sensor and only turn off the pixels around the camera sensor when the camera is being used to prevent the light being picked up by the camera... instead of the having the black rim around constantly?
