Working on a Scottish car,3 full shifts and the box still isn't out, using every trick in the book just to get bolts loosened...kudos to you, what a nightmare job as a living!
Hi there 2 bolts are located behind the starter motor one is kind of hard to get too. Remove the cable from the motor itself to allow access 13mm nut. And the last remaining bolt is the opposite side next to the top bell housing bolts.
I was doing a 308(t9) GTi yesterday and when I was wiggling the box out the jack slipped engine dropped with gearbox about an inch clear. Dropped engine about 5 times trying to get it back into position. Gearbox is back in now. Do you reckon everything will be ok or damaged mountings or bent input shaft?

What a guy, changing a transverse clutch laying on the ground... no lift!

I was going to tackle this job.. but I think I will stick to doing the drive shafts
I just wonderring if my Peugeot 308 1,6 liter HDI from 2012 is single mass or duall mas flyweel.?Thank you
Duall mas, and they tend to fail and make noise
Never showed trying to separate the box from the engine.. currently trying to remove mine NOT an easy job
I've been trying to remove my gearbox, but I can't seem to find the top bolt for the starter motor. Mines is the 308 mk1
