DOWN GOES ANDERSON
I can hear this bit while reading this... it lives rent free in my head😂
Down goes Anderson Jose Ramires 11 right hand punch
😴💤🛌
tom hamilton is a legend
Legend has it he's still enjoying that nice game time nap courtesy of Jose Ramirez 😅

DOWN GOES ANDERSON!!
@@DookieBoiWilliamsright who tf is Tim Anderson 😂
Why would "legend" have that? We've literally seen him back on the field since then. So he's clearly been awake.
To be fair, Anderson's story of rising from a wannabe hooper to MLB prospect in JuCo is nonetheless very inspiring
Only to act like an arrogant moron
What’s not inspiring is he’s an asshole.
he wasn't a wannabe hooper bro he was actually playing basketball at a very decent level 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 don't do him like that
Some are calling him the Jackie Robinson of JuCo basketball
His Field of dreams walkoff homer against my yankees still gives me chills, still hoping for the best
As a sox fan, thank you for being positive towards Tim, hate seeing all the negativity directed at him
@@JP-ji6of yea man, the internet loves hating on people or things just because it’s popular to do it, they just love hiding behind their phones trying to spread negativity. Good luck to you🤝
@@JP-ji6of he got knocked the F out though 🥊
@@JP-ji6ofwhy would we wish him well, he's an asshole
Tim is not a very likeable person tho lol
I have a theory regarding Tim Anderson's struggles at the plate. He has regressed so much due to the injuries he's had throughout the season since they've affected him and his game so much. His finger injury from last yeat may have made him change the way he holds his bat and how he swings the bat. He is not swinging at the ball the way he was before and he's had numerous lower-body injuries as well. I may be wrong in this comment, but it's just an observation I've made
Lol. Yea, has nothing to do with him being a paid prima donna who literally wants to try to box on the field. It's psychological, not physical. He's a POS.
Best observation I’ve read of any posted here.
Please pin this comment
I agree with that theory the fact he broke both legs at some point must have some long term effects. Arthritis from injuries when you are younger can creep up fast in my experience. When I turned 30 I started having a bunch of pelvic problems from previous injuries as a teenager and now I have to get my SI joints fused due to the pain.
When you have a bad injury you favor the other side like you alluded to and over time that strong side can give out because you are relying on that side too much.
Reminds me of Yelich after he hit his knee, he looked nothing close to his MVP swing the next few years. Glad to see he’s finally found his swing again
For ever and ever will that frase live among us 😅” Down goes Anderson” hahahaha
He wasn't just "knocked to the ground". He was knocked out. As brief as it was, his lights absolutely went out. Look how wobbly he is afterwards.
Yeah, he didn't lose balance.. He was hard reset.
30 isn't old, but non-elite middle infielders have a habit of collapsing pretty early too
As a white Sox fan it pains me watching him struggle this bad.
"DOWN GOES JACKIE"
Robin Ventura: Finally. We can move on from the time Nolan Ryan kicked my ass.
you can't start a fight and lose. You must win
Yep! 💯 percent truth.
He clearly has zero fighting skills as the right handed Anderson immediately jumped into a southpaw stance for the "fight" and even tried to employ what is referred to as the "cock-sucker guard" (hands stacked like on a baseball bat, rather than apart on either side of face......to....you know.....GUARD!! Cock sucker guard does not work.....ever.
Lol
Jose started they fight tho
He probably got to see Jackie Robinson for a bit when he got clocked.
The worst part of that self-comparison is that he couldn’t carry Jackie’s jock.
@@warlordofbritannia Not to mention his reaction when he got that thrown at him.
@@warlordofbritanniaActually the worst part was falsely crying racism when a player called him Jackie ugh
@@JustMeELCthe media (MLB network in particular) attacking Donaldson as if he doesn’t get under the skin of a lot of different people as a tactic was the most frustrating narrative to endure.
@@JustMeELC how do you falsely call racism?
He didn't give me an autograph when he was on a rehab stint in Charlotte. It's been downhill ever since.
Note to self, don’t make @Marka1999 mad.
Karma is real
If I was in the MLB, my biggest fear would be seeing my name attached to one of these videos 😭😭
I think his off the field issues with his wife, mistress, and child out of wedlock is weighing HUGE on him. I think Anderson is a really good player and fun to watch, and I know people have been waiting on him to fail for a while now, but hopefully he figures it out, he's a really fun guy to have in the game.
Nah, fuck ‘im. I have no respect for a PoS like that.
Only thing weighing on him is HE GOT CAUGHT & if you find watching arrogance & rookies getting bullied then sure I guess you would find watching him fun.
Dude stop with the false racism and bullying rookies comment. Rookies need to toughen up. You must be 20 or 30. There was a time when runners could break up double plays. Watch how Bucky Dent and other middle infielders dealt with it. Tim literally just tagged the guy and you call that bullying. If a player can’t take a hard tag go to baking school and bake bread and doughnuts. Geese, what’s happened to young men these days. They’re soft as marshmallows. And the racist stuff. You know down deep in your heart there was a tinge of racism in what Donaldson said. Every white person knows someone who is racist or themself a racist. Get off your soapbox and learn to take a hard tag and treat everyone as you would your own mother, providing you treat your mom well.
No he’s not. He’s toxic af. And your comment just validates that. Toxic on field, toxic off the field
Typical groid - wife, girlfriend, bastard kid, acts tough but cant fight for shit......sounds about par for the course, I'm sure he'll be arrested for DV in the near future.
Someone who used to play w Tim and is now a pretty big Twitch streamer called it. He said Tim has the biggest ego in the room and after the knockout blow delivered by Ramirez guaranteed he won’t hit above .250 this year. He currently sits at .251. Homie should’ve bet money 😂😂
The whole thing where Donaldson called him Jackie was way overblown in the sense of Donaldson betting called racist for doing it. Anderson comparing himself to one of if not the most influential baseball player ever was a bit much. It would be like if Kyle shwarber came out and said I feel like I’m this generations babe Ruth… no doubt he would hear it from other players. Then after Anderson got knocked out by Ramirez and had to be carried off the field I think that really hurt his image having another player shut his mouth for him.
as a white sox fan, the way he went about the whole Jackie Robinson thing was when I started to wish the Sox would trade him. of course after the Ramirez fight, we will be lucky if we get a bag of sunflower seeds and a couple cans of red bull for him.
The As might give you 2 cans of copenhaagen mint long cut for him. Thats a good deal you should take it
Anderson had good form in the square up but he couldn’t land a punch on Ramirez (who was being held back somewhat). Ramirez cocked back and put all the platanos, santos, bachata records into that one punch and knocked him out.
He's right handed and went into a lefty stance
nah anderson just has no chin. ramirez landed with limp wrist and palm out and still dropped him
😁 don't forget the tostones!
@@Jack3dBrett idk that was square on the button lmao
Getting your ass whooped in a fight you started. It's a White Sox thing.
This whole video was a comedy. I just about fell out of my chair laughing when he said that he was gonna be a gold glove winner.
Baste.
I mean he put up over 2 dWAR one year but apparently that was luck, somehow
He’s never been the same since Donaldson called him Jackie lol
Pretty sure he’s started an all star game since then but go off 🤣🤣🤣
Comparing himself to Jackie Robinson was exactly what I needed to hear to understand who Tim Anderson is, and it's a far cry from who Tim Anderson thinks he is.
Jackie Robinson was a great player, could do everything on the ball field-a great fielder around the infield and left field, hit for power and average, excellent plate discipline, and you know all about his base running.
Anderson had a few superficially good seasons with the bat due to BABIP. Otherwise he’s a bad fielder at the most important position with poor base running skills, little power, and no control of the strike zone. He could hardly be less similar to Jackie.
Don't forget falsely whined racism when a player called him Jackie 🙄
@@JustMeELC
That just goes without saying 😂
if you worked with a Chinese guy who was into martial arts and you called him Bruche Lee or Jackie Chan do you think they would find it offensive? @@JustMeELC
exactly, his babip artificially inflated his true abilities, when you look closer you see a highly overrated player.
@@JustMeELC how do you falsely call someone racist 🤣
He’ll bounce back next year and hit .300 again, he was hitting .300 before he got injured early on. Definitely needs a change of scenery especially after this horrible year.
No he won’t he sucks
Yikes
Video starts at 8:13.
A lot for White Sox brass (whoever is left after Williams-Hahn firings) to consider.
Has TA’s bat speed slowed?
Is the pitch clock a factor?
Can he be taught?
Three things right off the bat which would determine whether the Sox should be looking to launch him.
At a minimum, a move to second would seem to be in order. Not open to it? Prepare the launch pad.
Jackie!!!
What is the point of in video ads? It only makes us hate the product and never buy it
One thing not mentioned here is survivorship bias. You sometimes see a rise again, but most players who decline disappear. You mentioned that due to the law of averages he may do better, just because of how badly he is playing now. Only players who improve from bad declines stay in the game. He might be dropped completely, so an improvement may not be on the horizon if his team doesnt think he's worth keeping around. With stats that bad, I'd rather have literally anyone else in the league to take his place, even someone who wasn't previously in his position. Fielding errors and consistent strikeouts add up, and he'll be chased off the team without RAPID improvement.
Your videos have improved so much. Keep it up dude. Don’t pull an Anderson
“I’m here to change the game”
*proceeds to become a poor example of how to be an athlete*
I hate to see anybody struggle like this but the dude has been asking for it. Came onto the scene with high hopes and a lot of talent but let his ego get the best of him and has clouded his mind. I don't wish harm to anyone but he needed to get humbled, not in the way he was ideally but it happened nevertheless.
Agree
Probably too little too late but who knows
How did he let his ego get to him?
@@yogurtsniffer86 Typical way, he quit working at his craft, he got satisfied. On top he decided to be a "race hero", what a joke. Worst of all, he started sniffing yogurt. What kind of loser does that? Answer, your kind, and lil' Timmy's.
@@yogurtsniffer86 How did he let his ego get to him? Are you kidding? The man's out there comparing himself to baseball legends a few years into the league and showboating every dinger he hits.
Injuries definitely could play a part especially lower body ones affecting his base. However any time I see drastic changes like he has shown I always think a vision change. It just seems to have been something I have seen a few times in recent years.
He has been dealing with shoulder and knee injuries all year and decided to play through them. It got so bad that he was playing 2B for awhile because he couldnt make the throws from SS. Why they are allowing him to do that this year is beyond me. The whole organization is a mess.
he strikes out a lot, never walks, has poor fundamentals, is injury prone, and has below avg power. It's hardly surprising to see him suck. Honestly, you'd have to be pretty dumb to think his success was sustainable
@@robotbro7187is year 4 straight years of success not considering sustainable ? Lol I’m so confused when people mention that regarding TA. The man hit .300 for 4 straight seasons.
I can see having one really bad year like he’s having this year so I think if you wanna see what’s really going on we’ll have to wait until next season to see which TA shows up. He’s young enough that he could return to form and be a good player or he could have a repeat of this year and that could be it going forward. I’m willing to give it one more year before I totally write him off
He said “fast paced lifestyle as a content creator” during the ad 😂🤡
He could just be having a bad year. Lots of people thought Elvis Andrus was done after his awful 2018 and rebounded nicely in 2019.
Next year you could be doing the same video on Jazz Chisholm Jr.
As a White Sox fan, I think his career will bounce back. Just not for the Sox.
Tim Anderson bought the hype about how great he was, and has been referring to himself as Jackie Robinson for 4 years now. Josh Donaldson got shit for mocking him...but he was absolutely right. Anderson is a joke who thinks he's a hero.
He honestly just looks like he's not trying. His heart is out of it, he doesn't like where he's at, in ways I don't blame him but he's so toxic and immature that it's hard to defend him as well.
Love your honesty (knocked on his ass). It might be what gets him booted out of the league and/or other teams may not want him as a liability.
They said the same stuff about Cody bellinger! He’ll be ok
i love these videos
I love these
"Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and sometimes you get knocked on your ass"
Everyone questions how TA's downfall might be to his past injuries but no one ever mentions how he was caught cheating on his wife this year and how he got the side piece pregnant. I can almost guarantee that this has taken a mental toll on him and is the reason why he fell off so bad in 2023.
Yeah, I was curious why that stuff wasn't brought up in the video. Great role model for the kids!
He’s just like Jackie Robinson
Shoutout to anyone who was at the only 2023 Anderson HR game
The insinuation regarding " racism " with Josh Donaldson was so petty. Even worse was how Yankee teammates didn't have his back. Especially, their "Captain" Aaron Judge very weak how he handled himself.
Donaldson was a clubhouse cancer nobody liked him, he could play defense but that was his only tool. Huge decline and bratty attitude
This guy is truly classy, he should be a role model to many 🙄 I have no clue why he plays baseball, he seems to like to fight and flip off fans, maybe he should go into boxing or UFC. I loved seeing him get knocked out for free id pay to see it on PPV, I can easily reply his getting punched over and over and over and over again and not get sick of it. Oh and he shouldn’t disrespect a legend like Jackie Robinson, there’s not even a fraction of a comparison!
You're not gonna mention the off-field stuff though? I know that has added to his decline.
Arrogance is a helluva drug
I played with Timmy in high school and the guy never practiced on anything his whole like. He just walked out there and got it done.
he took down goes anderson too literally
hopefully things can get better in the future, great vid
He can turn it around.
The most absurd thing in this video is calling Anderson a former gold glover. Not only has he never won a gold glove, he’s never been a good fielder
Hey we didn’t finish below .500 last year. We were 81-81 😅😔
Hopefully that no hitter he threw against Jose Ramirez revives his career
so he wanted to play basketball, but then broke both of his legs so he said all right I’ll try baseball 😂😂😂😂😂😂 unbelievable
I was expecting a 12 minute long super slow mo shot of Anderson... Declining
But I guess this'll work too
The baseball gods struck him down.
This dude made the cut cracks me up! A hall of fame player could announce that this will be their final season after struggling all year and this dude made the cut would probably make a video about them saying the brutal decline of the player despite them still being a potential hall of famer!

Modern day "Jackie" ?😂

I see what you’re going for and while the numbers are very bad, you didn’t look at his recent production and the fact that he’s had an above average August and July. He was horrendous before but he’s bringing it back a bit. That and the clubhouse rumors make me think that while he’ll probably never be 2021 Tim again, this is a down year in a depressing team not a kill shot
I think Tim Anderson needs an urgent change of scenery. Maybe he could rebound on another team, similarly to Cody Bellinger. He needs to reset and put his down and just work.

Why would a team offer anything for a player who can't hit, can't field, and has a bad attitude?
Even if the White Sox covered every penny of his contract I still wouldn't want him on my team
First time since 2018 he hasnt hit over .300 because he decided to play through injuries instead of sitting and he's in "brutal decline".
Not good enough to hit .300 = out of the league
