Please do a video for the 2024 JL 6MT. Your short regarding manual transmissions post-clutch recall is exactly the scenario I was stuck in with my '24 when I went to 35's. My Jeep has spent a week now at the dealership with them figuring stuff out. Supposedly it's not fixed after replacing the gear position sensor and factory reprogramming for 35's. I pick it up tomorrow so I'm hoping that it's good now. Anyway, I'd love to see the exact procedure to set tire size, tire pressures, and other settings on the new JL manual transmission so others don't get stuck like I did and many others when changing tire sizes.
@@WreckedBrewery it’s not something we can make a video on because there is no permanent fix. The factory needs to come out with that All the information we have on it is here: With the Jeep recall done, those that have larger tires on can find themselves with a “service transmission” notification which would restrict them from using the EVIC screen. With the Tazer lite or TaZer Mini updated to the 11.4.6 firmware, do a full reboor or partial reboot if the EVIC screen is locked on the “service transmission” warning. Partial reboot short cut is to hold the back button and then hit the cruise resume button With the vehicle out of limp mode now, you can then reset the tire size back to it’s stock size setting. Although the speedometer and shift points will be incorrect, this will allow you to drive your vehicle again until Jeep comes out with a permanent fix
This video was very helpful. I have had a Mini JL for about a year now and my Live settings for brake light strobe and triple honk just stopped working. Running through this reboot and 2 sleep cycles fixed it. Thanks
Perfect so happy to hear that this video was helpful to you. Generally if there’s an issue, unmarrying, doing a full reboot and two sleep cycle will fix things… just make sure you have all previous changes written down somewhere so you know what to change back once it resets back to stock
So a lot of the Jeep/Truck guys in rural areas like to trigger some ditch lights off the high beams. Right now that means adding a relay to the highs. Wonder if there would be a way to make the Tazer add a high beam trigger to the programmable Mopar auxiliary switches? They already have other programmable features, maybe it might be possible to add some code that says something like "IF hi beams = ON THAN aux switch X = ON"? That would be perfect. You could simply wire the lights to one of the aux switches, and set that switch in the Tazer to turn on with the high beams.

How do you do the 2 sleep cycles on a Jeep Wrangler JL if you are running soft doors? With these guys on instead of the hard doors, nothing happens with the lights, dash, etc when they’re open and closed.
So I noticed that my speed O was off and when I tried to go into the menu it wouldn’t work. Pulled the tazer out of my Jeep and plugged it into my computer. Got it updated to the latest and greatest. Plugged it back into my Jeep and it would go straight to Updating…. Had a text conversation with someone at your tech support that said to do the recovery.
