The only Problem i got after testing over night is that the miner is crashing all 30-60minutes and every time it says „nvidia oc failed“ is it a known Problem?
Hmm. Keep lowering it till it doesnt crashes and maybe its not from that card. Sometimes when u play with 1 card others doesnt "like" it..had this issue with my vegas. And u can take the power limit off as u dont need it
This custom minig Bioses are like 6 old months now. They used to work on any 1600 super hynix cards. But even though its same cards manufactures like Gigabyte are constantly improving and updating their cards, including Bios. Seems like recently produced Gigabyte 1660 super have incompatible bios with this minnig one. Its always a risk-reward situation. Those of you who lost can blame only yourself for trying that.

Both flashed either in windows 10 nvflash and hiveos vbios, end up with a unknown memory type and hiveos nv tools error. I followed the exact steps. For windows, nvflash64 -- index=0 -6 bios.rom i not sure what wrong. I do not know if the cards are bought 2 month back helps? Is it the version is new?

Hi buddy. Thats strange to be honest, i flashed 2 x 1660 super Zotac with hinyx mem and still shows hinyx. One way to be sure that u had hinyx mem its to take the card apart and look at what it says on the cards memory. Ill ask around and let you know.
@@huzaifausman8089 I solved it connecting the gpu to windows and reflashing the backup bios. You need to use the bricked gpu card as second card in windows, otherwise, the system wont boot..

I have the same problem and panicked at first..lowered the mem to 2900 and after 1 day of running fine it showed me the same. And then i thought, ill jusy leave it...got the rig running for 6 days now with that err and havent got a problem. Ive checked the temperature of the card several times and its cool. In case u find ur card overheating more then it usually was just lower the mem untill its not doing that anymore. hope this helped.
Olso, if i reboot the sistem shows the temps just fine for a day or two, then the err comes back on. Ill keep on looking into it and see if i can find something about it.

Hi buddy. It is crazy 😂. Im sorry but i havent heard anything about a bios for 1070. I had to sell my 1070's as they were getting low on hashrate. They were doing 30mhs in last summer and in december were doing 27mhs. I was using 120 core and 900 mem for them if i remember well.

Try and lower the oc on the 1660 if the rig was running fine before.
@@gorobete2720 got a low oc permanent 1150/2400/pl100 But on the wall it takes 75w..

Didnt work on Colorful batle ax with hynix memmory.. and my specific gpu doesnt increase hashrate on -1004 mc at all

After u flashed it did it show flashing ok..reboot now?
If it did, try and boot the rig with only the 1660 and see if it shows up..maybe change the riser aswell.

try enabling maintenance mode without loading drivers and reflashing stock bios

Depends on the power usage. If the power usage stays low then better speed hash does mean better money
