Another great restoration and also another car I've never seen before and I'd like to find it for my collection I always love Jaguars me I like all three keep up the good work have a good weekend and God bless my friend
I find it amazing the state that these little cars 🚗 get in but they were never really built to last years, my favourite has gor to be the green Jaguar.
Nice one Jason. Difficult to decide as they all have something different going for them. My favourite one? matchbox version. Although more working parts on lone star and jewelled headlights etc. The matchbox version seems to be more in proportion somehow. Anyhow your restoration were fabulous. Keep er lit ya boy ye
nifty. :) mass restos save time. :) the brown one was really rundown. I'm amazed it wasn't as corroded as it looked. :o they all look good, but I think my fave would be the green one. the paint looks deep, you really have a hand for rattlecans it seems. :) I was afraid the details would be drowning, but they are still good. interesting excurse into the history of Lone-Star. I think their problem was partially that they concentrated too much on british cars nobody else outside of UK knew, so there wasn't much to export. I just think I have seen a jag Mk10 once at a flea market, the rest is e-type or occasionally a Ford or the Vauxhall wagon. the rest barely happens here. and maybe Tri-Ang had the same problem, looking for them on ebay mostly reveals british cars we continentalist europeans have never heard of. XD I'm going to look out for those castings more, next year at the classic car faire (or mess?) near me, they always have lots of toys and model cars sellers from all over europe. expensive weekend is expensive. XD
That's an entire dealership, Jason's Jaguars Ltd. Like others I prefer the green one the best because of the wheels. I think it's a classic colour that would look great on an E-type too.
Way to go, Jason!!! These are some of my favorite models in the diecast world with all the moving parts! My only regret is that the 1:64-scale diecast market remained the realm of Lesney Matchbox until Hot Wheels dethroned them. I have a love hate relationship with Hot Wheels....I love how they rejuvenated the market and probably kept the aspect of collecting diecast relavant to kids from the 1970s and beyond. But as I gravitated towards realism, the custom and outright bizarre models were very bittersweet. That being said, it is an institution that kept the hobby going. Impy / Lonestar Flyers were exactly what I would want if I was buying diecast back at that time, with an empshasis on REALISM. Alas, it was British generally relying on the UK and American market (plus Japan?). In other countries, companies like Majorette, SIKU, Tomica, were able to be popular homegrown companies producing many homegrown cars. IMPY had to compete with juggernaut Matchbox, as well as Husky / Corgi Juniors. Still, this was the golden age of diecast. We have many very realistic models today, but these were all designed long before computer-aided design. Think how AMAZING the "J A G U A R" printed across the boot / trunk! It was done by carving a large scale model out of wood, and then using a pantograph to scale down the model to 1:64 scale to make the molds. Today, we no longer see that level of design, but photo etched or printed tampos. Thank goodness that the "well loved" models get the restoration treatment that real cars get!
Fantastic job all around! The dark green is stunning and possibly my favorite color you have ever done!
What a tutorial! Three fantastically restored cars. I like the green and blue the best but to honest they all look great. Thanks for sharing this.
Beautiful casting! You did a great job on all three, but for me, that green is stunning!
These look amazing. More beautiful work. 😊👍👍
Nice restorations, details and paint jobs 👌 👍
Loved the montage sequence and the end results!

Well done Jason great work! I’m also a fan of the Lone Star cars 👍
They were all good, but I like the red one the best.
That one seems to look like it just came out of the box…
Great video as always
Stunning restoration on these beautiful
Love the old "other" brands with the opening features. Lone Star Impy, Yatming, and some Lesney, etc. Great job!

Great job 👍🏻 and my favorite is the red one
Top work 👍👍 Thanks for sharing.
I don't know much about Impy. Very nice models!
As usual a great job Jason

Red is my fav
very hard to nail it on one car jason
Muy bonitos! 👍🇪🇦
amazing mate love the red one xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I know a source for very good metal repro Lone Star parts... I really like Lone Star, equally as good detail as Lesney bit with more opening parts
Where?!
Love the lone star restorations!! Do you ever do any old hot wheels??
Not really sadly. Older Hot Wheels are fairly scarce here and as much as I’d like to the cost tends to be higher with them
Another great video. Please can you tell me where you position your phone/camera for your videos. Thank you
My camera is on a tripod over my left shoulder. It’s only there because the screen is right hinged and can’t go to the left!
@@DieCastRestos Many thanks 😊
