Ah you have discovered the bane of my existence - every 1:64 Beetle is wrong in some way! The Matchbox 1500 and Husky 1300 are about the best, although the modern one you chose is not bad, if a little basic
Good job as usual, but that aerial looks kinda like a match. But you had to work with what you had….. Anyway, good job Btw, I’ve never heard the expression before, of things being “Boobs up” (I’m not a prude, just being cautious. You never know how TH-cam will take things like that!)
It was going so well up until the application of the sun visor and aerial. That needs a rethink. It's too flat and extends onto the roof too far. And the aerial is too fat and mounted in the wrong place. Soon sorted though; the rest is very nicely done.
Big Like 👍👍👍👍
Great work as always .
Mike . 😊
Another great custom! Thanks for sharing this tutorial.
Very cool, nice job 👍
Nice build, details and paint job 👌 👍
Great interpretation Jason. Cheers Michael
nicely done, love the wheels. :) and the potato salad sun visor. XD
That's a pretty accurate replica of the real car. Well done!
Great job 👍🏻
nice one
Looks nice
Sweet sweet car
Something I use for antenna's is the wire from a bread twist tie it's very thin so it doesn't look too bulky. 👍
Turn the majorette one into bumblebee 😂

thats a lightning rod more than an ariel
Very nice build and paintjob, only the sunvisor is way to large! It ist originale attached to the upper frontwindowframe, not on the roof!

Agreed, he did a great job and then adding that killed it imo.
I think blue plastic was a bit to much, cheers Graham
