3:40 In an age of people using touchscreen phones, many car makers use capacitive touch or touchscreens far too much. In an driving situation positive reinforcement from physical buttons and knobs like this that allow the use of muscle memory and counting are really much better to use.
Glad Mazda sticks to the sensible, safe option here.

Didn't like the looks in the first PR video compared to the CX-50. But now ... I love it. Ordered a machine grey with black trim. Now ... waiting on delivery in June 2023. Also, with 6 years warranty 👍❤

Lot of new information compare to the other reviews on YT, thank you for the crisp review. I am planning to book one in a month.

Can you confirm the electric motor power figures? Mazda UK shows the electric motor power output at 129kw, not 100kw.
    Thanks,

How does the cargo space compare to the CX-50? Like the new look.

Do you mean the CX-5? if so CX-5 is 522 litres and CX-60 is 570 litres.

I just bought a top line CX60 3.3L petrol and a CX5 for the wife, both only 2 months old now. I'm beginning to wish I'd bought 2 CX5's.
The CX60 seems poorly built, noisy, rattly noises from the boot area, a boot lid that rattled and didn't close properly. Boot latch has a few mm of play when closed which makes it rattle. Rear floor pan rattles like crazy over any bumps as it's super light weight and just bounces around.
A rock hard suspension that become tiresome very quickly. You feel every bump on any road and where I live there are plenty of uneven surfaces.
I have had several occasions where the interior has been steamed up after leaving the car for an hour.
The driver personalization system doesnt work each time and often leaves me a good 10cm away from the pedals in guest mode as the drivers seat retracts when you turn off the ignition. Even after software updates to the connect system it still fails 50/50. I've turned it off and just rely on seat memory. Why it couldn't be personalised to the key holder I don't know.
The driver lane assist is aggressive and intrusive and dam right dangerous in icy conditions. It cannot be turned off permanently and I'm fed up if menu diving to turn if off for each trip.
The doors feel flimsy and light, certainly not a solid feel and Mazda have acknowledged this issue.
The rear boot has only opened once with a gesture since I've had it, despite several attempts to use it when the car is filthy or I'm carrying stuff.
The steering is heavy at low speeds and the transmission is juddery at best. At motorway speeds the car is prone to drift and then kane assist kicks in and scares the shit out of you by wobbling the wheel.
The CX5 black edition has none of these issues and neither did my previous 2020 CX5.
Considering I sold a top of the range Haval H6 which cost 17,000 brand new and was faultless for 3 years, this CX60 has cost over 3 times as much and is a pile of junk, luxury it's not. I drove Audis for over 10 years, everything from the A2 to the S8 and A8 W12 and they are far superior to the CX60, Audi have nothing to worry about there. I just wish Audi reliability was better. Although I have to say from about 2013 Audi build quality has fallen through the floor basically because of weight saving, which is what I think the CX60 suffers from too and flawed technology.

Sorry to read this and hear of your problems. Underwoods are no longer a Mazda dealer. Which dealer did you buy it from and assume you have addressed all these issues with them directly. Good luck.

Good luck getting anywhere close to 20 miles on EV, let alone 39! Then there’s the small matter of strobing headlights in the rain, door pillar colour not matching the doors, facial recognition that’s intermittent at best and wireless charging that doesn’t!
    And that’s for starters…
    All this for over £50k.

Unfortunately it's true, I can attest to the technology flaws in the CX60, I don't own a hybrid, I have a CX60 3.3 mild hybrid top line model and it's a pile of crap I'm stuck with for 3 years

I can't answer for the EV range as I own a 3.3 petrol mild hybrid, so disappointed in this car. Wish I'd bought a CX5
